Well that's not scary for every manager, and assistant in every club, what if we all love our clubs, and they hold deep memories to us, then it's shut down because other people's lack of interaction within the club? Are we to pay for their mistakes? |

I think they should pay because the managers/assissants are the ones who invited the people |

Really James? I disagree, I should know since I've been here long enough to know that clubs mean things to other people, and what is left of the ones they have loved. I know that the past poetry clubs that are inactive as of late have held the most precious memories I own in my life, yes while I left them, they still hold precious memories, and it would be a shame for them to be destroyed. My club is in no way of being destroyed but the ones that I love yes. |

I'm sure all of us here can (hopefully) attest to the memories and friendships gained in a club. The reality is though, clubs here are meant to grow, and an inactive one is doing nothing for the poets. If the members aren't able to devote their time due to work/school/life or their interest has decreased, then the managers should seriously consider what they can do to re-vamp the club or move on. I remember back years ago when I created a club and it did well for a few months, but there wasn't enough interest. Didn't make any sense to keep it if I couldn't get that spark. Sometimes it's in the best interest to join more active clubs and build those if you can't run and lead an active club. |

I understand about the memories, but the fact is that only ones who can read the old threads are existing members. Even if the club is preserved it serves no good purpose if no one is active. |

I agree with mark and MA. A few clubs would get the spark going back into the clubs I feel. That way we can become a close group, shrug |

I agree to this rule. My club is pretty active most of the time, but if it went weeks without any interaction I wouldn't think twice about closing it. I like being active, and making lots of activities to do, and if no one joins them, it gets really pointless and draining. |

Baby Rainbow, if they don't get accepted they can easily go to where it shows that they belong to a club and just click on the button "quit club" |

Ah, that is better then, I didn't like the thought that they couldn't apply elsewhere. |

Or if they don't have the patience for it, they can just get out of it, and go to another club it has been done in the past by me. |

If there is an active manager but no active members, just go in and make a post to keep your club alive. At the same time it also means you cannot be in another club, so essentially you're just in a dead club. |

Will do in the future. |

This was just meant to be a reminder... We had a site-wide discussion before making the rule, and made it 6 months although most members seemed to want an even shorter amount of time lol. |
