I know that all of you wonderful poets are probably busy, believe me I know but lets try to make this site live longer than what the majority of you have been here! :)

Hey, I'm 65. See if you can get it to outlive me!

Will try Larry, God knows I want it to live past my 30s.

I feel sad when I recall the golden years of this site, it was a great source to learn writing properly, the constructive criticism was always offered, the forums were great place to vent and get an advice regarding any issue, the clubs were very competitive.

Somehow it influenced our lives very much, and hopefully rises from the ash again.

^I too miss these times. PnQ has some great memories for many members. Hopefully we can all create some new ones.

Well we are all trying and that's the start of a fallen empire rising back to it's former feet.

There was a period in which I perceived PQ past proverbial forbidden fruit , and the old threads need to float peacefully into cyberspace like my tissue paper thread flushed down the toilet of the site

Oy. I've been here for 8 years. Off and on. Writer's blocks tend to turn me invisible for a while, but this place was hella poppin back in the day. Lots of angsty teenagers writing out their feelings into something extraordinary. (And then social media happened, and a FB status seemed easier.)

There's a lot of quiet periods that did not used to happen. A new generation is coming in & may spark a revival.

This site has never been "dead" poetry floods in daily... there is tons to read for the avid poetry reader... I'm assuming people are referring to the discussion boards as not very active...

I've seen it fluctuate throughout the years... that is what is so fun about this site, it has a variety of things to do.. post and read poetry is the main reason.. and yes the discussion boards... Its always been an active site... in my opinion..

Tell the truth, I never frequented the discussion board until three years after I joined. It was all about poems & nothing else.

Still, the discussion boards are entertaining.

Well, all I know is what I read in the papers. Nationally syndicated column number 42, Blames All Ills on Earthquake (1923). This became a remark Rogers often used in his public appearances. [2]

"You know everybody is ignorant, only on different subjects. "

I think the main message forum here has evolved into something many of the former mods did not imagine

    Perhaps I haves missed messages
of the weekly contest winners where I should seek inspiration :)
