Hello everyone! Here are the results of our front page
holders. Congratulations to our winners Chamomile,
Acoustic Odyssey and Satish Verma who I believe is a first
time winner! Congrats HM's! Thank you judges for your time
and effort, they are very much appreciated.

    WINNERS:

    Destination 21 by Acoustic Odyssey

I do not die by Satish Verma

    The wolves within by Chamomile

    Destination 21 by Acoustic Odyssey

This truly makes one think how tragic live is to humans all
over the world. I was curious about the title since I'm 21
and after I read this deeply motivating poem, I'm tempted
to start praying right about because I am thankful I have
made this far in life unlike some children that know they don't see themselves being twenty-one due to the location
of where they live or because of the domestic abuse they
withstand. Really opens the eyes of a person that doesn't
see this kind of situation in their every day life, and those
that do it makes them simply acknowledge it and keep
on living. Really beautiful and surreal of how people view
the world, great job at portraying this.( 10 points)

    Destination 21 by Acoustic Odyssey

In a very small world, where war and terrorism could
reach any place, we find ourselves admire such fascinating
writing very much, it's so close to the bone. The concept
of the piece itself, how it's very hard to know whether
we could have predictions related to the future of our
existence or not, it was a strong perspective to construct
the poem accordingly. I like how it begun by vivid scene
to draw the attention of the reader and then gradually
the writer introduced the thoughts and the message on
his mind. Very suitable title and structure, I think the
punctuation was intentionally missed to smooth-en the flow.
Enjoyable and very deep writing. (10 points)

    The Wolves Within by Chamomile

The writer outdid herself no doubt. The title is more
than intriguing, great Imagery portrayed by very intense, vivid and mesmerizing wording. Neat structure and careful
use of language. Her tone was very balanced making her
    metaphors truthfully memorable. Excellently penned.
    (7 Points)

    The Wolves Within by Chamomile

This poem is brilliant! Chamomile has tastefully and
beautifully written a poem in what I believe to be in
regards to safely, security and the beast within the soul...
Her word usage is very pretty and the poem itself flows
with a very nice to read rhythm. Trudging through the
darkness, the wolves within overpower the scariness of
the world. The "scratching" was a key word for me, it
speaks of fighting the fierce strength within to
overcome. Very powerful piece this week! (10 points)

I Do Not Die by Satish Verma

Dark, haunting, frustrated. The themes and character of
this poem are subtlety built and only portrayed by innuendo
("An imbecile / sky pours the eyes, nose and ears. / ... I am
persona non grata / in my own home. The moon does not cry.") You are there corporaly yet you had to open a lid to
emerge as a metamorphized insect-like being; your
vampiric nature does not allow you to die yet you are
"stupid, courting [your] failures." The poem has multiple
layers, one being the apparent depiction of the monster,
but another being that of an estranged father-husband,
no longer involved in the lives or loves of his family,
avoided and treated as dead to those who once made up
his world. He cannot leave, but there is nothing there for
    him to stay. (10 points)

I Do Not Die by Satish Verma

An absolutely wonderful abstract piece that made me
think - this seems to be a beautiful ode to mother earth,
in the sense that the earth will not be dead once all of
mankind is dead, something that people often forget or
refuse to understand. "I am persona non grata /in my own home." Those two verses struck me hard, since it speaks
volumes about what we do to earth, we go about destroying
the earth for our own needs, causing many species to go
extinct. We're even inclined to remove weeds, or destroy
anything that doesn't seem "pretty" in our own yards. It's
a beautiful piece that touches on this, well done. (7 points)

Against an army of one by Meme

To the Ebbing of the Tides by Everlasting

Riptide by Mahal Ko Kuya Ko

    Piranha by Jordan

    Exposition by Saerelune

    Love by Effusive

Against an army of one by Meme

I loved this poem it was really adorable and relate-able
to others. Many men and women have gone through
this because they want to make their relationships work,
even if they have to find the person that they love within
the outer shell. I wanted to shed a tear because of the
last two lines, those two lines tell something so bittersweet
and loving. A beautiful love poem and vent. Really
stunning as all this poet's poems are! (7 points)

Against an army of one by Meme

When a relationship goes sour, sometimes the true
strength of one can overcome defeat and bring the two
back to life. Very moving and touching poem by Meme-
Her word display is elegant and graceful... very pretty
    poem! (4 points)

Against an Army of One by Meme

This poem gives me pause. On the one hand it is beautiful
in its depiction of trying to pry the other from his protective
shell, his "castle / just for one." In doing so the poem is
remarkable in its imagery (" trapped in / the middle of a /
place that echoes / nothing but your / silence"). On the
other hand, it is also so full of foreboding (" But are / you
even real?") that I wonder if it's ever going to be worth
the while to go through these heroics. (4 points)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

To the Ebbing of the Tides by Everlasting

It's such a pity that as a judge, I am stuck at which poem
to make the highest and which the lowest since they are
so perfect every single poem! Makes me want to cry
because it was so hard. The imagery was stunning and
it took you on a journey of seeing and tasting everything.
Very inspiring and unique that's for sure! The ending
was very nice to read this one is going to my favorite
    poems list!(4 points)

To the Ebbing of the Tides by Everlasting

Creative juices are indeed intoxicating! The poem
fully engages the reader in the experience of imagination
and expression. Your thorough immersion is well
described ("I taste the memories / the sweetness, the
bitterness that life has given me, / ... even what life has
not given me... I savor each and every taste, / ... to the
last drop.") This abandonment into your work is what I
    think true art requires.(7 points)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Riptide by Mahal Ko Kuya Ko

Beautifully narrated piece, this poet has his special way
with the words, interesting, nostalgic and passionate
metaphor and imagery we find in every line. He was
very successful employing the title to come up with
very visual well written piece. (4 points)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Piranha by Jordan

Mercy! This dark gem by Jordan oozes with powerful
darkness and emotion. His word usage is very fun,
favorable and vibrant. I can't begin to praise the beauty
of his words. The message of an unhealthy relationship
perhaps...The formatting is wonderful and the repetition
of the door is powerful and significant to this piece I
feel...wonderful poem by Jordan!!! (7 points)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Exposition by Saerelune

I love the brevity of this piece, and how it captures
the author's feelings and thoughts in a intricately abstract
piece, it radiates a sense of brutal honesty. The verses
well thought-out, "Lined paper, camera shoots;/I wrecked
your fantasy." Alluring to the author's hobbies of writing
and photography, in which they come to use as a means
of coping. Lovely write. (10 points)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Love by Effusive

A beautiful piece in every sense - the imagery in this
piece was surreal, every word that the author wrote
lingered long after reading this piece. This piece was
both tragic and beautiful, well done. (4 points)

    Thanks, judge, for the HM!

To be honest I am surprised that my work even stacked up against the other poems on this page being as personal and vague as it is.
