The judge's opinions were a bit more spread out this week. The judges made their voices count for Dashiell's image laden remembrance of a bittersweet moment of lost love and the mysterious first time winner Shelly Winter's ditty to a whirlwind and finally to Tara Kay's intimate and revealing selfie that nonetheless displays, in my opinion, her magnificent bravery. These three clear winners were joined by a host of honorable mentions.

Memories of Nobody by Mahal Ko Kuya Ko 7 points
The vivid imagery throughout the piece was elegant and the wording was simple but stunning. The emotions popped out of these piece was a pleasure to read. Really relatable too to people who have had their hearts broken. Those that enjoy tragic love this is the best cup of coffee to read in a heartbroken day.

Mahal, Your nature tones throughout any poem you write is so captivating. Within this poem I can feel a rhythmic pattern and flow within the stanzas. Very elegant and priceless poem!!

Blowing In The Wind by Shelley Williams 10 Points
Excellent word choice and structure, rhyming as smooth as the glass. Somehow the short stanza and non-complicated Imagery fit this category of poems very much. The author knew how to use the title very well coming up with more than beautiful poem.
Blowing In The Wind by Shelley Williams 4 Points
Shelley captivate's and radiates true and pure nature within this lovely and elegantly written rhyme scheme.
The flow and rhythm is natural and priceless. The true beauty of nature has been presented by Shelley this week!

Nudity by Tara Kay 7 Points
This poem is more than dynamic, very intense and realistic. The author knew how to draw the attention of the reader by her vivid detailed description, a sentimental description of state of hidden emotion and sever pain. Her tone balanced from start to finish, the sincerity is striking in every line, very remarkable piece.
Nudity by Tara Kay 4 Points
This poem gets points for the line: "Yet here I am/ with the weight of my emotions in my pockets/ because public nudity/ has never appealed to me..." I think this is the strongest moment in the poem, a really wonderful play on pockets and weight and nudity. Nice job. :)

Stigmatized by Britt 10 Points
This is such an emotional piece by Britt this week. To feel the pain of being placed under scrutiny or labeled can be an endless pain that plagues the mind for years. I felt the heart warming hope throughout this poem and was truly mesmerized. Very pretty and touching poem by Britt!

I'm Coming Home by Dagmar Wilson 10 points
I enjoyed reading this piece it's relatable to countless people around the world. Sometimes life hits us a solid blow and we just run away and don't look back, like this poet stated in their poem they didn't once look back at what they had left behind. Life in general revolves around that concept in one way or another. The emotions that were placed within this poem were nice and simple as well as the wording, a combination of both made me love this piece above the rest and for me it was hard to choose which one would be the best but this one just spoke volumes. A truly pleasant read!

Um amor infinito by Karla 10 Points
Absolutely beautiful piece that captivated me from the beginning to the end. I found the lack of capitalization excluding 'um armor infinito' and 'Madredrus' interesting, as if the author wanted to place a greater emphasis on those phrases. This piece is filled with love, dread, and a muse-filled lament and embodies them to create a truly magnificent piece.

Have we ever lived by Yannick 10 Points
I love this poem. Every line is an expressive visual experience, a metaphor, a tiny moment. I love the different places it takes the reader. The mysterious quiet surrounding the uninvited guest, the natural world keyed into history and future of place and progression, and the cold bedroom of the couple, a stark but fitting line next to the "bonfire made of anger". This poem makes me think. I don't know if there is a single answer to what it means, but that is the type of poetry I most appreciate. What is it to live? How can we tell? I hope this piece ends up on the front page -- it's new and wonderful.

Pandora Heart by Mahal Ko Kuya Ko 7 Points
I found myself reading this piece over and over again, it's truly wonderful; the writing style is beautiful, the rhymes were not forced and were well executed. It seems like it was written in a moment of clarity, perhaps after midnight hence the verse 'the night is sound asleep' or perhaps that might be a reference to something else, regardless a truly beautiful piece.

This Makes No Sense by Vartan 7 Points
This poem doesn't make sense, per se. It delivers a series of images and a simple story featuring music. There are so many poets who try to control what they write, down to the last word. This poet has created a poem a la abstract art. Definitely deserving of praise! I would love if the poet included a foot note to the piece, I always like to hear what specific moments compelled someone to write.

Confessions Are Cathartic For The Soul by Beautiful Soul 4 points
This poem was filled with imagery and metaphors that captured the mind on a journey, to finding the pain and suffering this person has gone through mayhap it's from real life or maybe it's from this poet's mind it's relatable to someone in this world. The cold mentioned here is nicely done, it was nice read on dark cloudy day.

Avian Amusement by Cassie Hughes 4 Points
I'm amazed how much of a story the author fit in 24 words, it was the perfect execution of imagery, and the brevity of this piece does not detract at all from this piece. It wasn't overly descriptive, but just the right tradeoff between descriptive and flowing. Well done!

Well, actually the poem is much more facinating than the average title which is indicative how talented the poet is. In this small gem we read about swinging emotions, pushing and pulling framed intensely in beautiful diction and unique structure. Smartly penned.
