Hello Everyone! Sorry for the delayed posting...computer
problem! Here are the awaited results for this week
and once again thank you judges for your valuable time!

    WINNERS:

    Innocence Longings by Chamomile

    Machorra by Yakari Gabriel

    In my eyes by Angie

    Machorra by Yakari Gabriel

This piece grabbed my heart-strings, and the author did
an amazing job expression the multitude of emotions the
author is going through; loneliness, anger, and sadness.
It reminded me of a drawing/comic I've seen a long time
ago, where there were two triangles depicted who were
wearing a mask to make them seem like squares and
the text was "they went through their whole lives looking
for another triangle, not knowing that they passed one
another", and seemed a bit relevant, in the sense that
the author is hiding themselves a bit. The ending floored
me. A beautiful piece (7 points)

    Machorra by Yakari Gabriel

A poem that speaks without need for similes, metaphors,
or complicated kind of imagery. A poem of genuine, raw
and very deep concept. A beautiful introduction and use
of different language recognized in the first part of the
piece, it added a touch of reality and personified the
thoughts of the main character. Shifting into the second
part which was easier to tell, the writer stated in few
lines the reasons of her agony, still leaving more space
to the reader to ponder upon her last words and search
for truth lost between a mother and a daughter. More
    than fantastic read. (10 points)

    Innocence Longings by Chamomile.

Very interesting and elegant structure, the imagery, the
flow and the word choice as well are very harmonic. This
writer uses the language very carefully, in other words
taking care of every single detail. Just charming.(7 Points)

    Innocence Longings

The alignment of this poem fitted quite nicely with the
poem itself since some poems deserves to be in the
center format and it enhances the poem itself by a lot.
This poem had a story that was intrigued a person to
keep on reading. A touch of love is nice to read. (10 points)

In My Eyes (Rictameter) by Angie

To be a Daddy's girl... is beyond unconditional... when
a father is ill, it reminds his daughter just how touching
and short life can be, Angie has taken her love for her
father and captured the readers hearts and souls with
this poem. Ricatameters can be a hard form to write
because of the restrictions and syllable count.. the flow
has to be rhythmic, and Angie is flawless.. a remarkable
    piece!! (7 points)

    In My Eyes (Rictameter)

The style of poem was lovely to see and lovely to read
as well. The sentiment really touches a person's heart
since family is normally what a person views the
most precious. Beautiful read. (7 points)

Just about your eyes by Everlasting

My heart speaks a different language by Dagmar Wilson

Any Type Of Verse Will Do by Ben Pickard

The Creepy Roach by Shelley Williams

Woman Child. (Chain Haiku) by Linda Leavers

If I were a Sonnet (English Sonnet) by Maple Tree 4 points

Such a smashing sonnet indeed, despite having 9 not
10 syllables in few lines. Extremely smooth rhyming
and excellent diction, I think she knew how to relate
truthful meaning and lovely story to her title, a very
remarkable writing for this difficult type of poetry. (4 points)

If I were a Sonnet (English Sonnet)

The creativity here was interesting to read and fun to
read as well. This poet was unique in it's approach to
making a poem so fun to read. (4 points)

    Oscillation by Effusive

An absolutely wonderful piece that had me thinking for
quite some time after reading it. The title was an
excellent choice, as the content of the poem reflect the
title greatly, and had me wondering about dualities of
life (oscillations are typically, well rather more commonly
thought of, fixed between two states), such as the
intricacies of life and death, love and hatred. Oscillations
are quite common in mathematics, and there are some
scenarios where they converge at a common point, and
I wonder if the author was touching on that point with the
last verse 'our unity', being the moment when mankind
reaches a state of mind that is shared between all of
us, enabling all of us to become one with ourselves and
our surroundings, I believe this is called nirvana (or rather
something akin to it). Extremely interesting piece. Well
    done! (10 points)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Just about your eyes by Everlasting

Short and sweet piece that I think a lot of people can
relate to - often times as poets, we cannot bring ourselves
to fill a canvass with what we see in front of us, or what
we desire to paint, and this is a beautiful example of
that moment. Well done! (4 points)

Just about your eyes by Everlasting

This is an elegant and simplistic poem that is truly
captivating to the readers eye, I was mesmerized
beyond belief with this poem! Everlasting has once
again amazed me with her elegance within her poetry.
Lovely and beautiful reminder of how the eyes hold and
lock such beauty and power... lovely poem!! (10 points)

My heart speaks a different language by Dagmar Wilson

Stunning and pretty, heartfelt and powerful little poem
by Dagmar this week! Life struggles can make you feel
like drowning, and to overcome any battle in life can be
gut wrenching.. She has captured true strength within
    this poem... wonderful!! (4 points)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Any Type Of Verse Will Do by Ben Pickard

The title got my attention & from start to end it just
unfolded softly, rhythmically without a hitch! I like the
descriptions, especially the first & the last verse...a
lovely read about poetry, feelings & the emotions it
    evokes.(10 points)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Creepy Roach by Shelley Williams

This is a poem I live day in and out!! Each time I scream
my son will say "maa I'm coming don't worry" I dislike
those bugs, ugly scary! I enjoyed this read for it felt like
I was in there living it! The middle verses were the ones
that caught my attention. Well penned! (4 points)

Woman Child. (Chain Haiku) by Linda Leavers

This took me down memory lane...from birth to adult
hood mothers are the ones who give us courage, protect
us as well as teach us the right path to follow. However
old we are the moment a mother places her hand or
embrace us, the childlike feeling emerges. This made
me very sad to read for I miss my mother dearly at
the same time this Haiku has captured the sentiments a
    child feels I each stage & situation...touching. (7 points)
