Just before you hit the record button there is a Microphone level just beneath it lower it and it will kill the backkground noise :)

    * once you hit the "save recording" button it will throw up a link just below and then you copy and past that link :)

Lol it is a part of normal life hahaha I like that about you guys though lol it's not offensive once you understand Glaswegians more of a term of endeerment! :)

AHHHHH, HELLON!!!!! Your voice is soooooo captivating and that accent! Wow. Love it. Adds a lot to the whole tough & passionate image I have as you as a person.

EDIT: Shows how egocentric I am. I tend to imagine all of you speaking in American accents.

Hi, I have just stumbled upon this. Wow, what a great idea. The only trouble is I need a microphone.

I agree Chelsey sounds professional and ought to use her voice for a living. Hellon, you are a Scottish lassie - do you have the red hair to match the stereotype? :) This is a great way to get to know one another.

I will return to this thread once I have a microphone. There are some poems that just need to be read out loud and proud.

I am sorry for the sound quality here. Despite having a good quality headset, it is apparently super sensitive and picks up the sound of my laptop...just...existing!

    Anyway, For The Boatman.

What a shame....I couldn't hear your poem Michael? Kevin's was very quiet, I did understand it because I'm used to the accent but..yeah, it was very quiet. Ingrid and Cassie were very clear (nice voices both of you ladies) so, don't think it's a volume issue on my computer...not sure what could have caused it really?

Thanks Hellon, you have a wonderful accent:)

I listened to all clips now, and must say I feel differently about the people behind the poems read out loud, like I know you a bit better. Loved all the different accents!
