IMO (in my opinion)-challenge

Hey guys, I had an idea pop in my head for a challenge and wanted to host it for those interested.

This is such a great site for poetry obviously, but we also have had some really good debates here.

This challenge is all about YOUR opinion. I'm going to pick a few topics from a few genres we write from and in poetry form, debate your side. Fight for your perspective.

There will be 4 genres, so this is a 4 round challenge. If we have a tie, there will be a tie breaker round for the finalists.

Rounds will go as followed

Round 1- Life/ Society
Is there a God vs. isnt there a God

Round 2- Miscellaneous
Public breast feeding acceptable vs. unacceptable

Round 3- Funny
Blue dress vs. Gold dress (we are back at it, it isn't over lol)

Round 4- Love and romance
Married life vs. Single life

With this initial layout it may sound like I want an essay, but c'mon...you are poets, make these elegant, unique, give details on why you support one side or the other. Describe an experience, give a good declaration on why you're choosing the side you're choosing.

To make this more interesting, each round will have matchups between members (selected at random each round) and judges will award a point to whoever they feel makes the best poetic argument in their poem as to why they chose the side they chose.

With that being said, I'm looking for two judges to volunteer VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE. Judges will remain anonymous til the end.
