Not a poem. Not a quote. A lyric.

The clouds never expect it when it rains,
    But the sea changes colors,
but the sea does not change.

This is taken from 'Edge of Seventeen' by Stevie Nicks. What do you think it means?

If you know Stevie Nicks, what do you make of her?
The Coven season of American Horror Story was exciting for me because it explores Stevie Nicks being a witch. I love that.

I spent outrageous money to see Fleetwood Mac when Buckingham-Nicks joined them. She was a goddess. Her solo career, I think, was mismanaged and she did not stay at the top as I believe she could have.

That song's lyrics that always got to me were:
    "And the days go by
Like a strand in the wind
In the web that is my own
    I begin again"

Reminds me of how a spider lets her first strand float until it reaches another place, and how The Bruce took courage from the spider that refused to give up weaving her web.

Leather & Lace is another song from Bella Dona that was edgy and brilliant, sung by Don Henley (leather) and Stevie (lace):
    "Lovers forever
    Face to face
    My city or mountains
    Stay with me stay
I need you to love me
    I need you today
    Give to me your leather
    Take from me
    My lace"
