What did you have for breakfast

I forgot to take a photo and post on facebook this morning, so here is as good as any place to discuss this.

This morning I had peanut butter on toast for breakfast.
I don't know why, I just meandered into the kitchen this morning in a semi conscious state, flicked the kettle on for my morning coffee. As I have got older I have noticed I need coffee before I can't partake in conversation. Otherwise I am a right angry git...but I digress.

My peanut butter was organic, which is a fancy way of grinding up cheap peanuts, adding more salt than needed and sticking them in a fancy jar with a fancy label and charging me the price of a cinema ticket for it. Though to be fair a cinema ticket is useless after a few hours yet this over priced slop has been in my cupboard for at least three weeks.

The bread was thick cut, which means I am getting charged the same for less slices, they were that thick that they become jammed in the toaster and slightly burnt. Luckily my wife has he nose of a blood hound when it comes to burnt toast, so I managed to rescue it before it become too charred.
I heaped buttery margarine onto said toast which I have to do while the toast is still warm. If the marg doesn't melt I am not happy. Therefore nobody must interrupt me for those few minutes while I am decorating my cremated bread with double dose fat.

On reflection this much bread and two lots of spreadable fat is not doing a lot for my arteries, however I seem to be able to eat anything at the mo and not gain any weight. I have lost two stone through not doing anything, now there's a diet that works.

Time for more toast, maybe with dripping as it is the evening here.

I had Muesli careal with soya milk, followed by 3 pieces of toasted wholemeal bread, soya buttered, with slices of home grown tomatoe. Delicious.
    All with a green tea!
