Thank you all. Haven't really gotten any updates except the tube was removed and her throat is sore so she probably isn't up to talking. I sure miss that woman. She needs to get better. I bought us some more lottery tickets. Now 900 million. What the check would we do with that?? Fly everyone to one location for a pnq blowout for sure lol.

I just talked to Anna!!! Finally got to talk to her. Other than maybe some short term memory loss and her speech is a little off she sounded great. I am so happy!! I have a few messages from her to you all and some of you directly.

Michael, she will kick your butt, you weren't suppose to tell anyone ever lol. But she thanks you for the prayers.

Hellon I asked her about the gift and she said something about oil. I don't know if that's right or not. She said you want her to think to much.

Bob, I told her what you said about you hope the old coot got better. She said to tell you that somehow she didn't believe you actually wanted her to get better. She also said you can't get rid of this old coot you troll.

Cindy, she said thank you for the prayers and you always care so much about your friends. You have a genuine heart.

She told me to tell you all thank you for prayers.

When she leaves the hospital she will go to a rehab facility, not sure how long she will be there. She was very witty on the phone, though she had forgotten that we talked the day before she had the stroke. She thought we hadn't talked for a long time and she wondered why. But overall she done great and I was just sol excited to hear from her.

Very relieved to hear this good news Kay..thanks for the update. I can confirm that she's still as sharp as a tack because I had sent her some oil right enough...emu oil to be precise which is a lovely moisturiser a lot of us use in Australia.

Tell her...when she gets better, I think we (the old crew) should get together again and get a second book published...pretty sure we could get Standing Outside The Fire II going in 2016???

Just read through this thread for the first time. It sounds like Anna is pulling through well, thank goodness. The brain is an amazing organ and Anna's is exceptional. I hope she makes a full recovery.
