We're back!

The site was down for some of us earlier in the day, and all of us later in the day. No clue why, but we're back!

It's still down for some parts of the world, it works on data, but not wifi/wired connections for me.

The DNS servers seem to be wonky, you can access the site directly at 184.95.47.2, so instead of typing "www.poems-and-quotes.com", type in "184.95.47.2" and it will bring you here, so instead of "http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/discussion" it'll be "184.95.47.2/discussion". Logging in, works intermittently using this workaround.

Every website & computer has a unique ip address, and to get to a website or another computer, it has to go through other computers/servers first, some of them might fail (which is why the site is down for some people), I ran some tests and discovered that it's failing at "108.170.0.29" on my wired/wireless connection, but on data it goes through "108.170.0.9" and connects to the site with no problem. The owner of "108.170.0.*" seems to be called " Secured Servers LLC" I will reach out to let them know that their server "108.170.0.29" is having issues forwarding properly.

I'm on WiFi and it's working for me, shrug. It's 9:35 AM here right now EST

Great thing to wake up (for the second time) and find it back up! Hope it's back for all soon.

Not sure if y'all remember correctly or not but the site usually goes down every year around this time, usually for longer. I think at one time we had figured out it was contract renewal for Janis. Lol....anyway we are back..... good deal!

Seriously it goes down around end of January early February for long as I remember.

Mine was down all day yesterday and all night...feels good to be back...I was going through withdraws....lol
