Corned beef & cabbage is ok but give me a cottage or shepherds pie.

    ^ Yes!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hope everyone had a good day.

Here's a cool look into the history of St. Patrick. I remember growing up watching children's videos about his life and being told stories about him...

Corned beef and cabbage on the stovetop cooking. Irish whiskey cake cooling. Sipping an Irish coffee. Once our friends show up, you can bet we're doing Irish car bombs!
Guess what kind of whiskey, Larry. Not Jameson.

    Perhaps my favorite holiday.

Wish you hadn't mentioned shepherd's pie though. That would've been incredible! Next year.

Side note: I'm wearing an Irish bear maid dress. Why not!

Rosaura got take out CB&C + Shepherd Pie!! (why choose?)
I'm wearing a Dublin 5k race shirt from Emirates. People see "Running club" then look at my belly & laugh.

Happy St Patrick's Day although it's well over for me now, here in Australia. I made boxty this year...added some cheese and bacon to flavour it some more.

Jane...I'll guess Tullamore? I've just noticed for the first time that Ireland spells it whiskey and Scotland says whisky.

Bushmill's!!! First guess takes it. My Catholic ancestors were turning in their graves.

I've never had Tullamore. Any good?

Don't know Jane...I've never tasted any type whisky, I can't stand the smell of it. I just like the name :)

I'm only just developing a taste for whiskey. Red wine is my poison of choice.
