    Excellent clip. Thanks Darren.

An absolute genius. I heard he died of flu - is this true?

I've read that too apparently he performed although not well and a plane he was on made an emergency landing because he was feeling well when flying back.

    2016 has taken many greats!!!

My boyfriend's brother saw Prince perform less than a month ago. Now I wish I had gone. He played at least a 4 hour set. 6 encores or something.
Greg says, "Yeah, he was incredible. If he was sick, he seemed more alive than most healthy people."

57 years young. Rest in peace, Prince. I'll be listening to your music today.

    57! I can't believe it's been that long.

Back when Thriller was peaking Michael Jackson stated in an interview that Prince was so talented he was envious of him.

Wow! I grew up in the era of his popularity rise and height. I painted my room purple (in a conservative household that was unheard of then). I snuck out with my best friend to go see purple rain and the drama theater. I was going to marry him. So in memory of the Purple one I will throw on his black album and chill. What a great music loss.

I thought he was much younger than 57...wasn't a great fan of his but I did love, and still do, 1999...a party song that will live forever I'm sure...RIP....

Another talented star leaves the world too soon. I must say, I was never that into him, but Purple Rain truly is a timeless classic.

They are now saying he died from a drug overdose, I hope that's not true, such a talented composer and singer
