    I haven't read it, sometime, I would like to, but I always found her longer poetry maddening. from my limited knowledge of her poetry and life, an abrupt end in her novel seems appropriate.

    Dangerous poetry. (i) messes with Jungian archetypes (ii) celebrates the death insticnt (thanatos) (iii) can be too influential in turning sadness into crippling depression within young readers. See especially "ariel".
