On the above weekly contest thread, Jane was wondering where the idea of having more hair and winning the weekly contests tie-breaks came from?

    So here is the thread:
    http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/discussion/topic.html?topic_id=145403

In summary: someone asked how the weekly contest chose the winner when there was a tie?

Mr. Larry replied with what Colm and him had theorize something like .. "number of visits, number of votes... eye color"

I couldn't resist his comment and I made a comment "or the number of hair one has on their head"

I was joking about it. Sorry Mr Larry, to be honest, I haven't pay attention to your hair. Your head seems to be full of it.When I made that joke I just posted whatever came to my mind and whatever seemed most absurd and illogical ...

Turns out that after saying so the weekly contest had had ties... And most of the ties had been broken and won by those who "seemed" to have more hair. So the joke continued forward. O_O

    Interestingly enough,
I am bound to believe that that's how some beliefs start...
    ironic, isn't?

Anyhow, what do you think about hair? What is the purpose of hair? Is it important? Yes or no? Why?

Does aloe Vera work or not?

As far as me goes, aloe Vera de plant has worked for me. Whenever I'm thinking I tend to touch a part of my head and that made the hair fall... So I was becoming bald on that portion of my head. I applied the aloe Vera like if it were gel and it worked. So I am assuming it worked because my hair follicle hadn't been fully close.

On another question: what do you think makes the hair fall?

Well I shaved my hair off in September for brave the shave here in UK to help with cancer research and raised nearly £1k as my Nan and Grandad both died from it early last year and it's growing gradually with just the usual shampoo and conditioner. I loved my hair and it was down to my bum lol but now it's real short but I still take good care of it. I use alberto balsam when I wash my hair and then dry shampoo on the other nights just to keep that glow. It's worked so far. :)

My hair is now thick. Once a week, I used to apply olive oil in the morning and I would remain with it the entire day. I used to do that to take care of splits ends. Turns out, I read somewhere that olive oil thickens the hair. I'm unsure if this was only a coincidence or if it works for everyone.

As far as aloe Vera, I would buy the plant. Every other day, I would cut a small portion of it. Then I would split that portion in half and rub it in my head. Or With a spoon I would kind of like... I don't know how to describe it, but I would scrape that portion of the aloe Vera. Until I only got the liquid out of that portion of the aloe Vera. Then I would apply it to my scalp. Doing circular motions. It seemed to have worked for me.

I use argan oil in my hair. About a dime size drop after showering. Smooths it out real nice.
