Let's Show Some Appreciation!

Gratitude and appreciation is the best way to produce a joyful heart, so what better way than to share some love on PnQ? I've been feeling personally crummy lately and every time I do something like this, it lifts my spirits so high!

Not many rules - just pick someone (or multiple people) from PnQ to appreciate! I'll start!

Mark (Senryu) -- Mark you've been such a neat and fun addition to the mod team, I'm so happy you were willing to join us! I've gotten to know you better and you're such a kind person with a sassy side, which is basically my kind of people. Your logic and intelligence is such an asset to this site, and your poetry hits me right in the feels every single time.

Jane (silvershoes) -- Woman, you've taught me to open my mind and heart up to people and things opposite of everything I've ever known, and it's grown me so much. Your quick wit and humility are infectious, and I just adore your heart.

Ben (Ben Pickard) - we may go rounds, but we both have a passion for this site and poetry, and you can't help but feel connected to someone with a similar passion. You push people out of their comfort zones and have a truly compassionate side, and it's a joy to see.

Hellon - You and I are someone who don't typically have the same thought pattern for most things and yet we get along so well, it's shocking ;) I'll forever be a Stepford Wife because of you giving me that title, and I'm okay with it! Your wit and passion are also infectious and I just love it. You teach me such amazing things without even talking directly to me, and your wisdom is such a beautiful thing.

    (okay party people, your turn!!)

I'll like to show appreciation to

My pretty lady! Sylvia, for never giving up and always being encouraging and full of wisdom. You are always willing to learn and teach whatever it is that you know. You are a flower blooming and blooming showering us with your fragrance.

Meena, for always being there and being supportive and a great listener.

Ddavidd, sir, for being you. I still like you best when you are not driven by your ego, but nonetheless, I still like our conversations. XD I miss having discussions where I get to learn from. You are my favorite philosophical poet so far.

Mr. Larry, for being a great leader and a down to Earth person. I did enjoyed our conversation. I wish I could read in depth about Carl Jung, but also, I wish I could figure out a way to manage my time so my introverted self can have something interesting to talk about.

Andrea, for being one of my first mentors in the site and for encourage me to continue doing what I was already doing - spit and post. Oh and also for coming up with a name for one of the styles of my poetry - switcheroo. (Is that a word?)

Hellon- did I ever tell you that when I joined the site... I used to think that you were Helen of Troy? I mean, I used to wonder how such a beauty could cause such a war. Later on, after reading one of Britt's comment, it made me realize that your intentions weren't maligned. Also, thanks for being a great listener and for several times giving me advice.

A lonely soul, I wonder where you are Sir? Thanks for showing me around PnQ and for helping me improve my poems.

    Gaurav... For being a geek.

Senyru... you are like my younger brother... Extremely smart and you always seem to understand me even when I feel like I do not understand myself. Can I borrow your brain at least for a day?

Ben... I thought you were the other Ben. Then I realized you weren't, sorry about that. You are extremely talented. I hope to one day read a poem like the divine comedy but instead of being written by Dante that it may be written by you. I feel more comfortable posting rhyme poems ever since you joined the site. Welcome and re welcome to this site.

and I can go on... Purvi, wild flower, xanthe... Your youthfulness inspire me.

Oh and Michael nandalley ( I think I misspell yur last name), I appreciate yiur memory). I don't know how you do it but you can bring post that have been posted a long time ago... I admire that.

Mr Darcy, I think you are one of the best commentators. Plus, I like your imagination..

abracadabra, I like that you are straightforward and logical.

Nicko, I appreciated that you were one of the judges for one of my contests. Thank you both.(abracadabra and Nicko).

Aussi, (ABC) I also wonder where you are? I miss our conversations about poetry. I also appreciate you posting new poems.

Saraelune, thanksfor sharing your blog. It was refreshing to read it.

Noura.. I love your hair. It's so pretty.

Mary Anne, your voice is lovely. Thanks for reciting your poems.

Narph, you can sing so but so .. wow.

And I can go on... I appreciate everyone that have cross my path. Sorry if I didn't name you in here.

Britt, likewise. I love and adore ya and when it comes right down to it, our ideas really aren't so different. We both try to be generous, kind people and we both have the best intentions. Yes, you're a Republican conservative and I'm a Democratic liberal, but our friendship crosses all barriers! I tend to agree with what you have to say more often than not. So there.

Too many people on this site for me to get started just yet, but I'll come back to this when I have more time.

Jane is the person I look up to. I hope one day we can meet. You're amazing in every way, I'm not exaggerating, and anyone would be lucky to know you.

Every single one of you, PnQers, had an impact on me, and helped me grow as a poet and as a person in general. I love you all.

Great thread Britt and a great opportunity to say thanks to people publically.

I have to start with Michael (Mr Darcy). Ever since joining this site, he has encouraged me to push myself. He was the person that encouraged me to write sonnets and I didn't think I would be able to before. He is constantly supportive and helpful and not just with poetry - any issue I have, he has been there and I like to think of him as a friend now. He is also a massively valuable member of the site, reading and commenting constructively, not to mention an original andextremely talented poet himself.

Britt. Honestly, I hadn't looked at it like that before you said what you did, but you are right. We had a bit of a ding dong the other day, but we are both passionate people. I respect your work immensely but also your power to forgive and move on. You seem to have a great sense of humour too.

Andrea (Maple Tree) What can I say? Friend, mentor, all-round great person who I think everyone on this site respects and loves - I do!
oh, and quite talented too, I suppose....:)

Lucero (Everlasting) - purely because you are so unique in your writing and always honest in your feedback. BUt - importantly - it is constructive feedback.

Dagmar - Kind, giving, talented and always ready to give a word of encouragement or advice.

Ingrid - the same as Dagmar. She has been incredibly helpful to me since joining and encouraging.

Finally, to the late Cindy Graver - a constant support for me and welcomed me into PR. I was lucky enough to exchange emails with her and learn a little bit about what an incredibly strong woman she was and her often difficult life.

New members like Brenda, Em (returning) and a few others have also been great additions to the site.

Take care and all the best

    Ben

Rania: For being a true friend through so many bleak times and for sharing your hopes and dreams.

Jane: Geez, for everything. For keeping me in touch with reality, for sharing your ideas and plans, for comparing me to your dad and not just calling me an old fart, for the determination you show in your life, for your intelligence and creativity.

Luce: For your bright outlook, your enthusiasm and your giggley expressiveness.

Maple Tree: For all the time and effort you put into this site, both in front and behind the scenes and for caring so much about people.

Britt: For being an inspiration in your good times and your bad and for bleeding PnQ.

Abby: For bringing depth of thought to every controversial discussion and for telling me when I'm being an ass.

Hellon: For kicking things up, starting innumerable fun threads and for sticking to your guns

MaryAnne: For jumping in whenever you see a need and for keeping everyone uplifted

Ben Pickard: For your consistent commentary and your poetry

Michael Nalley: For your wry wit and down to earth outlook on life and sharing it with us

Bob Shank: For caring about the site enough to be a gadfly when you see fit and for things you do behind the scenes

Meena Krish: For no longer calling me "Sir" or "Mr Larry" but really for your support of so many younger poets and your concern.

Michael / Darcy: Thanks for all the fish. Seriously, for being another warped mind that can think around corners.

Kay: For being true to yourself and keeping us updated on other members

Sylvia: for being a constant source of inspiration and for sharing a love of bacon!

    This is hard,

    I appreciate everyone

    However here are some HM's

    (In no particular order)

    Luce and MA (POTP)

When I first joined the site these two commented on a stack of my poems, they both made me feel welcome and gave me a buzz to write.

    Randy East
The first person I spoke to on PnQ, such a positive and energetic person. He introduced me to the world of Clubs.

    Peter Edwards
The purple pant wearing gnome has had me in stiches more times than I would like to admit (to him) put a smile on my face during some of my darker days.

    Karla, Ingrid and Connie
These 3 ladies helped me develop my poetry and kept me in check at times.

    Ben (Naughtymouse)
What a guy, such a friendly and warm chap. One of the first I would have liked to meet in real life.

    Hellon
One of the most genuine people on here, She pulls no punches. There is no second guessing what she thinks of you. But she is always open for a chat. Always approachable and often misunderstood.

    Andrea
One of my favourite people on the whole of the internet. Always encourages me and is probably the nicest person I have ever spoken to.

    More recently

    Jane
A very clever young woman (hope I don't sound patronizing) helpful honest and extremely witty. Also a great help in her modship.

    Larry
I have a lot of respect for this man, A great writer and an amazing person. His life experience is a vast reservoir we should all be sipping from

    James
Somebody who has had similar struggles to me, a genuine and nice young man, who always posts the most insightful comments

    Ben Pickard
This young man has read and commented on most of my poems, his comments are encouraging and I love his spirit.

Mr Darcy, Milly, Brenda and Em

Without you 4, this site would have tumbleweed passing through. I have only spoken to each briefly through comments or discussion board yet I feel they will be a big part of this PNQ family.

    apologies if I missed anybody.

Read this last night, awesome thread Britt!

Can I say EVERYBODY?? It's so hard to name a few when each person makes their own unique contribution and every person has value :)

In regards to learning and gaining wisdom, I would like to thank Britt, Larry & Jane. Britt - you've always inspired me and make me want to be a better person and truly live a selfless life. With your own personal reflections and testimonies, not to mention sharing a part of you that helps encourage others who may have felt similar. You are a caring person who never fails to remind me God is there for me always. Larry - you're always there for support (with regards to this site and in my own life) and a hearty laugh, not to mention your priceless advice on the site here and tips with modding. Jane - very lucky and blessed to call you my friend and fellow mod. I knew we have our differences and awhile back I honestly thought we were too different to talk much or get to know each other further, but you've shown me about open-mindedness and such a beautiful perspective and way to look at other people and lifestyles. I appreciate that endlessly.

Andrea, of course! It's funny how we have never met yet I think of you as a close friend or sister... I've mentioned you before to my family or friends because of the pure heart you have and your acceptance of others. You always bring a smile to my face with your writing and being who you are, and you were the first one to truly show me too that we can believe different things and be of varying religions/spiritualities, yet still respect each other and grow.

Saffie - I've found a lot of myself in what you write and share and it's truly been fun having you on here with your inspiration and positive attitude in contributing to this site... all your contests and fun challenges!

Tara Kay - definitely someone I've bonded with and can open up to and trust. Such a strong, honest woman that I look up to.

Jenni Marie - friends for quite awhile on PnQ and in our writing club. I still remember when you sent me gifts from the UK and our love of Eminem! Such an awesome supporter and will always be there for you. Who could forget the first time we ever skyped with voice chat?

Luce - always something so thought-provoking in what you write and all of your reflections really inspire me.

Courageous Dreamer - again, one of my very first friends on PnQ. It would take me days to even go back and see when we first started pming each other but before I did a lot with the site we would chat constantly and it's amazing seeing the journey you are on and how life has progressed for you.

Ingrid - such a big heart and has always supported me and cared. Given prayers and great insight and hope to always hold on.

Meena - So lovely to be a mod with you! You have a genuine heart and it's great being able to get to know you further and brainstorm in the mod room too.

Kay & Lu - M&M buddies and such sweet people. I love hearing how you are doing and what is new with your life!

Darren - an awesome family man and poet! Love having him on PnQ

Yaki - I'm blessed to know you from this site and see you following your heart and passion through what you share on Facebook as well. You have such a story to tell and such determination and courage. I have no doubt you will (and already have) given so much hope and inspired women to not apologize for who they are.

Linda - Seriously a courageous woman and one I will always support and cheer on. Your poetry and story is so honest and raw that I admire you more than words for being here to share your story and inspire others.

So so so many others!! The list is honestly endless!

So many people, that I just want to say thank you to...
That I appreciate. ...this is going to take a minute.

    So here goes.

Thank you to Bob Shank, for giving me sound advice,
To get my head out of my ass, start living the life I need to live, and be the person that I am now, just thank you.
Thank you for helping me to get comfortable with harsh critique within my poetry . And I never would have been involved with rap battles if it hadn't been for Bob and justplainme....those two taught me a ton!

    Britt,
Thank you for sticking by me all these years....I love you.

    Brit,chelsey, and Mary Anne. ...
For helping me become a spiritual bird, within all types of spirituality. ...love you!

    Larry,
You are a guiding light and just a precious person!

Darren, Ben and Mr Darcy. ...

Sweet gentleman that are my friends....great support.

    Jane and Hellon,
For helping me open my eyes to wonderful new insights to things I never knew...very inspirational women!

    Great thread-

Off and on for 10 years i have met a lot of great people. And of course people who i disagree with lol.

Cassie- From my very early start here, back in 06-07, you were one of my first friends. You were always honest with me and told me straight up to turn my life around. I know we lost connection many many years ago now but i still miss ya. I doubt you are on here anymore though.

Hannah - Oh sweet Hannah i know we have had our falling outs (mostly my fault) but you were always brutally honest with my poetry and comments. You honestly shaped my thought process and helped me to grow into the poet and commenter i am today and for that i thank you greatly.

Saffie- You were always there (many times) to help me with my poetry, especially grammar. You and Hannah helped me most when i needed someone, honestly you two are probably the reason i am still on this site today.

Darren- You are an amazing person and you write such unique poetry, i believe we feed off each other well, i am still honoured to comment on your poems when i have time, i know i am not the easiest person to deal with but you've stuck by my side for a long time and for that i thank you.

^^ Don't be surprised, you are the lovely lady who approached me gently years ago, taught me how to trust my pen, how to write independently without fear. The one who made me fell in love with the poetry forms and I will always consider you the best professor :)

Bob Shank and The Tasteless aka Sincuna, those two members helped me tremendously to grow as a writer, to write seriously and maturely, thank you for scratching my back years ago lol

Temps, Danny, Ingrid, MA and the lovely lady Anna Stephens group of fantastic friends.

I admire everyone trying to make this site alive including all of the active members, and I deeply respect all of the mods but Mark would always be very remarkable.

  • Bob Shank

There's nothing more appreciating than seeing someone's growth, as a writer and as a person, and knowing that you had a small influence within that growth. The influence hasn't always been kind either, and yet to see them rise above it and apply the good from it and to carry it to the next level tells you a lot about them as a person. Their character, their diligence to be better is worth more than mere words. We should all appreciate those who maintain this site on a daily basis, those who continue to stick it out through the ups and downs. We don't always agree, imagine any literary site with thoughts and opinions where everyone agreed, it would be a joke. Many of you probably think I have a dislike for you, but the opposite is the truth, those who have fought me the hardest are the ones I have the utmost respect for, because you've stood your ground, and refused to rescind your principles and beliefs, right or wrong you stood for what you stand for and that is always admirable. If none of us have learned anything it is that one person or one group doesn't make or break this site, it is "ALL" of us collectively that has kept it afloat and that in of itself has made us better as individuals. To all of you, young members and old alike, keep uplifting one another, grow together, and may you have much success doing so.

  • abracadabra

Britt, I'm around everyday, but I never sit behind a computer anymore. I just hate typing on my phone. So frustrating to be so slow when I want to get my teeth into things.

Also, there IS a lot more getting along on the boards now than I've ever seen here before. I like it and I don't. Where are the "controversial" people? Bob and Hellon have some of the old spirit, but most of the rest seem to be so nice.

I don't appreciate nice people. Nice is an awful description of someone. I appreciate good people. To me, there is a world of difference between the two.

In an online, written world, I appreciate the poets here. Poets don't waste words. Being nice is wasting words, and expecting to be treated nicely in return. It's a waste of time and energy, it's an insincerity. And it's not interesting.

But niceness is a socially necessary mediator. In real life, I am nice. It's such a drag.

But on here, I always felt different. As long as I was speaking my truth without being careful about my words, I felt more intelligent and free and GOOD than I normally do. My passion was higher because my voice was purer.

Children at a great indicator of purity. It's easy to pick the good ones from the arseholes. Grownups are much trickier.

Jane wasn't always nice. But I've loved her from before she turned. She has more genuine goodness in her than most people. And her brutal self honesty and humility shines through every time. So it's okay. Just don't get exhausted, Jane.

I have never seen Kevin be nice. Thank goodness. He always makes it count.

Nicko saves his niceties just for people he loves.

    Bob and Hellon are unflinching.

Britt is nice but can take much worse than she gives. And there is still a refreshing bluntness in her words.

Narph. I see her intelligence and natural respect for words struggle with the weight of being nice. But her words always win.

Noura. She recognises the difference in a heartbeat.

Larry. He makes his money being nice. I don't know how he does it, but I do know why. It's a necessary tool for nice-minded people, and there is an overwhelming demand for it. Luckily, most of what he says is still insightful and rarely dull. He wields much power.

Sibyllene was one of the nicest people I knew. But when she threw a barb, it would slay. That was her magic.

ddavidd was mad. A common side effect of extreme unniceness.

I don't interact much with the rest of you. But I will appreciate you if you don't play nice.

And that's why I will never support the Like button, especially on a poetry site. I don't want your unidimensional display of feeling. I want to see how you write, how you represent yourself, what your words are sharing and hiding.

  • silvershoes

Let me start by saying I have 20+ more people on my list (yes, I made a list), so this is only the start. I have to take a break and continue hopefully tomorrow.

    ---------------

Noura: I was drawn to your feistiness and big heart immediately. You're beautiful inside and out (seriously, you are gorgeous). Sometimes I'm fascinated by your spirit and youthfulness; other times I'm knocked to my knees by your wisdom and worldliness. I hope we meet someday too. I told my mom about you and showed her pictures of you and she couldn't get over how stunning you are! Is that weird? Sorry lol.

Abby: The bearer of truth. The best kind of truth, like a light in the dark. You see things how they are and you appreciate the beauty in imperfection. You're the most in touch person I know. In touch with yourself, human nature, the world around you. You crash down like a wave every time you come back and we're all left a little bit different and a little bit better. I like to think of you as a mighty soul that's been reincarnated over centuries as various powerful men and women and lived in parallel worlds. You are Cleopatra, Artemis, Adonis, Alexander... And you look at humankind with unbridled love and affection, but also a knowingness. So yeah, in case it wasn't clear, I think highly of you.

Sibs: Sibs belongs as the main character in a book about books, love, and finding magic in dusty corners where no one looks. She is a special woman and anyone who doesn't fall in love with her instantly is out of their damn mind! She's the type of woman you could never regret loving even if she breaks your heart (she wouldn't). I also agree with what Abby said. Yes. Just a wonderful person. True to the bone.

Kevin: Maybe I'm drawn to these people because they all remind me of characters in books/movies. There's some magic about them. Something that makes them a little more than human. Kevin's straight out of any Tim Burton movie. Intelligent, clever, and entirely his own person without influence - quirky as hell. Actually, Kevin, you remind me a little bit of Loki, but more charming evil, and less evil evil. I had a big crush on you back in the day. Still one of the few people on PnQ that makes me giggle.

Nicko: There was and never will be a truer friend than Nicko. I suspect his friends outside of PnQ feel the same. This guy has a heart of gold, believes in a better world, is loyal to a fault, and will not stand for injustice. He's also a goofball and a flirt when the time calls for it. I have the utmost respect for you, Nicko, and am honored to be part of your inner circle here on PnQ. If I were royalty (a girl can dream), I'd want you as head of my personal guard. Or more accurately, if I were a pirate captain, you'd be officer of the deck.

Jordan: Speaking of good and loyal people - Jordan! Genuine, lighthearted, and fun, that's how I would describe you. You make me feel good about myself and generally more positive about everything whenever we talk, which is a wonderful quality :) Men who call themselves feminists are few and far between, and it's no surprise to me you're one of them. I wish we lived closer because I know we'd get along SMASHINGLY!

    To start with,

Larry, I've never met anyone with your honesty and loyalty, you're beyond sincerity. It's been a long time and I've always seen in you a great idol for anyone to look upto, with your patience, wisdom and high sense of humor that comes real handy in critical situations. I admire your strong bond with your family, only great men know how to keep that rope tight. Thank you for everything.

And Maple, you're so humble, you are the mentor with your unbelievable generous emotions and sweetness. You literally spread joy everywhere you are. Despite that I also I'm a big fan of your relationship with Jim, you are an amazing couple and simply beautiful people. Bless you both.

Ingrid, also a very close friend, I love you for who you are and how you never forget the little details no matter how much time goes by. A successful person with much to learn from.

Yakari, not to pretend that we are even close, I admire her personality and inner power, she has so much to give and so much energy that can influence those around her to the best.

Zahraa\Dark secrets, an amazing lady, one to admire dearly, so full of strength and someone who knows how to be responsible. She lost her husband last month, one cant but admire her patience, hope she has the faith to get through this phase.

I know I've been sort of AWOL lately but I feel like so many names belong here. Some are here and others aren't. I'll elaborate later on today because I am currently typing on my phone.

Senryu (Mark) - I appreciate all the incredible comments and amazing inspiration. Always so constructive and honest, with a phenomenal sleeve of suggestions and improvements.

Maple Tree (Andrea) -She's always so open and kind no matter what is being asked of or said to her. Extremely friendly and always a delight to engage with.

Poet on the Piano (MaryAnne) - Fantastic author, beautiful descriptions, in-depth comments, more helpful than words can describe.

I don't know what name she's going with now, but Brooke who has also gone by a ton of names and phases. Always looking out for the people that come her way, shy - even through the wires - but still always helpful, constructive, and one of the sweetest people I have ever met through this site.

Larry Chamberlain - of course, this name would be on my list because of all the incredible advice and helpful comments about anything that comes up for anyone. A moderator, but incredible for any kind of questions, advice, or really anything.

I mean, like I said already, so many people belong on this list and I'd love to add more to it, but today is so chaotic. Thank you to all of the site for all the incredible effects of your simple acts of kindness along the way.

    Slowly adding to this...

Narph: You rare creature, you. Yes - creature! Incredibly sharp and incredibly humble. Empathetic. Kind. Cunning. Narph feels deeply, longs for adventure (a girl after my own heart), and creates her own path - which can be hard, daunting, and sometimes downright exhausting, but totally worth it. I admire and adore you, lovely lady. I knew you were different from the beginning and am grateful for our friendship. Oh, and a stellar poet. I just love reading her words.

Larry: I was wary of Larry at first because I don't trust people who seem too good to be true, and then I thought he came on board as a mod trying to run the show (some people might say the same of me when I joined the squad haha!). I'm forever grateful Larry gave me a chance to get over my wrong opinion. He is now easily one of my favorite people on this site and one of my favorite people in general. He does remind me of my dad and my dad is the best man I know :) I admire, respect, and care about Larry deeply. He's a fair, good, honest, wise, sympathetic, fun, and loyal friend, and a person with the rare gift of being profoundly imaginative and immovably grounded at the same time. OH, and he's the best mod, don't let him try to tell you different.

Britt: I feel so much affection for this woman. She has an enormous, engaging, contagious personality and I don't know how she contains it in her dainty little frame. If Abby and Sibs are supernatural, Britt is the most real and natural person on this site. She's the type of person who makes people feel at home instantly. She'll have you in tears laughing one second and in tears filled with love and gratitude the next. She knows how to touch people's hearts and bring out passion. She's unfathomably genuine and generous, and she loves and loves and loves soooo hard that I can feel the ache in her huge heart. She's also the type of person who is constantly learning and admits when she's wrong, which is a hard trait to come by.

MA: Speaking of someone who is constantly learning and adapting her view of the world, I've seen MA grow more and more grounded, open, loving, knowledgable, and caring every single day since I started paying attention. It's inspirational and incredible to meet someone as open-minded, thoughtful, and willing to see all perspectives as MA is... She says I helped her see the beauty in other perspectives, but I say she helped me do the exact same. This is a woman who is constantly bettering herself. How many of us can say that? I hold her in such high regard, and I'm a fool (just like I was with Larry) for thinking she was something she is indeed not. MA, thanks for forgiving me for being a jerk in the past and for not holding a grudge. You're a true friend and a beautiful person. You've taught me a lot about myself in a short time. Also, how much you love your dogs reminds me of how much I love Milo, and it warms my heart.

So... I don't even have words. This site has opened my heart up to so many different kinds of people in different walks of life, and for that I am so grateful.

Wow Jane. I had no idea you thought of me like that. I like the thought of me like that too. Thank you.

Errr...I hope you never meet me.

Ha, it's the you that I know. I don't think my opinion would change if we met. There is an otherworldly timelessness about you that I feel, and I think little Maya inherited it. A half goddess in tiny human form ;)
Deal with it. Deal with my reverence! HA.

I have thought about this thread often.

I had a good friend on here when I first started (on older accounts) and he really helped me to grow within myself not just poetry. We spoke often on and off the site and he helped me through some tough times. Unfortunately, we lost touch as life got hectic and when I cam back to the site he'd left so was gutted. I just hope wherever he is, he's ok and if he's here that he reads this as I cannot remember his name on here.

I would also like to thank Michael (Mr Darcy) from the bottom of my heart for being such a kind man and helping me grow as a poet. Many a time he's helped me through inbox with poetry and has introduced me to new forms and helped me out when I've struggled.

Ben Pickard has also helped me with criticism so that I grow also so thank you.

Milly Hayward and Brenda for always showing support and reading my work and just for being there through difficult times even though they probably don't know how much they've helped, thanks ladies.

I would also like to thank darklight (Shanky) and the Po whet (moa) for giving me a shoulder. You too have helped me more than you know. Thanks guys.

And to each and everyone of you, don't stop being YOU as you're all amazing!!! :)

"Nice" is not a state, it's a choice of repertoire.
Abby, I'd love for you to speak with numerous opposing parties. Some of my own Clients would also burn your ears if you told them I am always nice.

You guys are all so sweet. *gags*

I guess I can think of a few people.

-Formidable Muse- she's not here at the moment, but she is truly a great person. One of the few people I message on here back and forth constantly (when she doesn't delete her account lol). Anyway, she's a real understanding woman and babbles as much as I do. Also, she never judged me about my obsession with my scaly children. Haha.

Mark- also for not judging my obsession and saying that my babies are cute. Thank you for agreeing with me and giving me an awesome nickname. Haha. You're great to talk to and I love that you suggest awesome shows to watch!

Hellon- you're great. Never a dull moment when you're around! Thank you for keeping in touch when everything happened with my brother, you truly helped during that hard time.

Brooke- you are an awesome person all the way through! Thank you for being patient and answering all my ignorant questions, lol. You have a heart of gold and anyone is lucky to be your friend.

Stephen- I love how honest and down to earth you are. Especially this crappy week. You comfort people with what they need to hear, not with what they want to hear and I don't think I know many people who do that. I told you before, but I truly appreciate your words and understanding. We need more of you in the world!

Ingrid- you aren't around as often, but you always give the best advice. You supported my marriage when my own didn't and I will always remember that.

Kay- you're just an all around amazing person. A great friend and so easy to talk to.

I know there's tons more I can say, and more people to thank, but this is about as sappy as I can get for one night.

    You're all amazing people.
