Gratitude and appreciation is the best way to produce a joyful heart, so what better way than to share some love on PnQ? I've been feeling personally crummy lately and every time I do something like this, it lifts my spirits so high! |

Britt, likewise. I love and adore ya and when it comes right down to it, our ideas really aren't so different. We both try to be generous, kind people and we both have the best intentions. Yes, you're a Republican conservative and I'm a Democratic liberal, but our friendship crosses all barriers! I tend to agree with what you have to say more often than not. So there. |

Jane is the person I look up to. I hope one day we can meet. You're amazing in every way, I'm not exaggerating, and anyone would be lucky to know you. |

Got me over here crying into my hands and intermittently laughing at how ridiculous I must look. Thanks for that, friends. This thread has melted me into a puddle. |

I'm out in the boonies right now, freezing my ass off but...just wanted to say how very VERY humbled I am with your comments...Never expected any of them. My post will be very long when I make it because I feel I've had a few 'different lives' on P&Q...each one with memories I'll never forget...when I get home to the warmth of a friendly fire I will post but....honestly just wanted to acknowledge what's been said...WOW...just WOW!!! |

^^ Don't be surprised, you are the lovely lady who approached me gently years ago, taught me how to trust my pen, how to write independently without fear. The one who made me fell in love with the poetry forms and I will always consider you the best professor :) |

There's nothing more appreciating than seeing someone's growth, as a writer and as a person, and knowing that you had a small influence within that growth. The influence hasn't always been kind either, and yet to see them rise above it and apply the good from it and to carry it to the next level tells you a lot about them as a person. Their character, their diligence to be better is worth more than mere words. We should all appreciate those who maintain this site on a daily basis, those who continue to stick it out through the ups and downs. We don't always agree, imagine any literary site with thoughts and opinions where everyone agreed, it would be a joke. Many of you probably think I have a dislike for you, but the opposite is the truth, those who have fought me the hardest are the ones I have the utmost respect for, because you've stood your ground, and refused to rescind your principles and beliefs, right or wrong you stood for what you stand for and that is always admirable. If none of us have learned anything it is that one person or one group doesn't make or break this site, it is "ALL" of us collectively that has kept it afloat and that in of itself has made us better as individuals. To all of you, young members and old alike, keep uplifting one another, grow together, and may you have much success doing so. |

Humph, I only got a couple of mentions. Better lift my game around here. Not sure it's worth it for you daisy-weaving, rainbow-farting, butterfly-spewing bunch of bores, but my ego still needs a stoking. |

Not sure about Like buttons; there's something charmless about them in my opinion. Who needs another Facebook in the world? I think, if given the choice, I wouldn't want Janis to blow the dust off this site even if he had a mind to.... |

If given a like button, I would become lazier. Instead of writing on the forums, I would just like the post either in agreement or just for liking it. |

Britt, I'm around everyday, but I never sit behind a computer anymore. I just hate typing on my phone. So frustrating to be so slow when I want to get my teeth into things. |

Let me start by saying I have 20+ more people on my list (yes, I made a list), so this is only the start. I have to take a break and continue hopefully tomorrow. |

Ha, it's the you that I know. I don't think my opinion would change if we met. There is an otherworldly timelessness about you that I feel, and I think little Maya inherited it. A half goddess in tiny human form ;) |
