Why don't they?

I was reading the above article, and while I rather keep my distance from posting topics about politics and religion, I feel like sharing the above link.

What do you think about it? Agree or disagree.

To be honest, I'm not familiarized with Friedrich Nietzsche, therefore, it's hard for me to concur that Trump's morality and approach to life can be compared to his.

However, in my opinion, and based on what I have read and seen from Trump, is that he is all about power and nothing about love.

So I cannot understand why people who believe that God is love, and specially, those who follow the teaching's of Christ, would want to vote for him?

The article is fairly accurate IMHO about the application of both Christianity & Nietzsche. Not saying others would not disagree.

My take on all organized religions is that the connection between their credo and their actions depend more on pragmatic advantage than faith.

The reality is that organized religions, all of them, will support whatever candidate appears to give them a political or monetary advantage.

    Ah money...

I suppose that money isn't the one I should blame but the Greed that people have...

the most perplexing thing in this whole circus, it's baffling, but I agree with Larry, and I'll even take it a step further, organized religion has produced some of the most hateful, xenophobic, racist people this world has ever seen, so in looking at it from that perspective, it's so easy to understand.

Trumps belief in God is something only he and God know about. I cannot say for fact either way, though people can and do believe, but not follow. There's a difference.

Following Jesus is an active pursuit in relationship with Him. We are called to be Christ-like... love God, love each other. Literally the most important things we are called to do.

I cannot say whether or not Trump truly loves God, but I am confident that he does not love his neighbor. Not that we all get it right, I definitely don't. But he doesn't seem to even try.

Wolf in sheep's clothing, and honestly it's more like the sheep's clothing is hanging in the closet. He doesn't have my vote.. I can't do it.

I'm casting a stone and shouldn't..lol, but I just have a hard time jumping on that Trump train. I'm a conservative and hate that I'll have a write it on the ballot. I don't know many Jesus followers who are Trump supporters.

The great thing is God isn't surprised about tomorrow. He already knows. Luckily my faith is placed in Him, not in politics. I'd be even more emotionally unstable.. lol

Britt, I had a professor who once said, "where you put your trust in, it's what matters"
Edit : Oops, instead of saying faith the professors words were trust. In that sense, my trust is in God and so is my faith,

So I also let my faith be on Him. I'm just overwhelmed with sadness. All I feel is people's fear, hurt, confusion...

And I can't blame anyone for feeling that way.

God used a pagan king to redeem His people. If He can use them, He can use Trump. Lol
