I think the point is try and make some people think about why they cut, and if they do is it really the best solution.

Oh, yeah. And all the drama in your life, or in anyone elsee, cutting isnt an excuse. Just because you had stuff in your life, doesn't give you any good reason to cut. I used to cut. Yes, I admit. But I stopped cause it was the most idiotic thing I ever did. I regret it more than anything. (Drugs blah blah.)

Cutting is something that people think relieves stress and 'helps'. Haha, I don't know how could that be true. It was making you mentally okay. You thought it was helping. But physically, it wasnt. Cutting gets you in even more drama. So what's the point?

I'm going to give you credit because I don't think you entirely understand cutting and self harm situations.
I think the only ones that you have been exposed to are the people who actually do do it for attention, and don't actually go through any real pain at all, they're just lonely
(please no one debate that comment, you all know there are people out there like that)

This does not mean however that every person is like that. Some people who deal with great stress and anguish actually do cut themselves to release tension and for other reasons.
And, the reason why alot of people are posting their feelings on this site is because alot of them hide their pain in reality. Therefor, they want to release it in an area where hundreds of people can know about it, but it would never get back to their friends and family.

But, I am aware that there are people on this site who make up stories about suicide attempts and such for attention, which is sick and pathetic, so i'll give you some credit to your comment

but I hope you understand that not all people are fakeing their pain.
