1 The Apprentice
Darkness brews an
evil that lurks within
a split mind,
psychopath
is born upon
a star of death.
Horned, disfigured
eyes of the bloodiest
river, flowing electric
veins connect with
a light saber, slashing.
Darth Sideous's love child-
a spawn of horned evil
evolution gone wrong.
The universe of mayhem
cradles cells of a demon,
hatred welcomes....
Darth Maul.

2 Bones
Blood spilled here
blood spilled there
your lifeless body
displayed in a chair
looking for evidence
"Oh look, I found a hair!"
One FBI agent
named Agent Booth
gets on my nerves
while I'm looking for proof
I'm the best anthropologist,
bones always tell the truth.
In season six we give in
to our certain desires
from the start, a rocky relationship
filled with secret admirers
Pelant killing friends
his plan eventually backfires
Free to marry
continue our jobs
Booth ends up in jail
I keep taking crime scene swabs
I save his life yet again
he makes my heart throb.

3 Continuing mission... (13 films and counting)
Star Trek: The Motion Picture teleported young minds, watching,
The Wrath of Khan on Betamax tape warped dreams, where,
The search for Spock like aliens became a mission,
The Voyage Home, to find life, to discover,
The Final Frontier was actually,
The Undiscovered Country, my own earth, where
Generations of my kin had lived before.
First Contact came without notice, my personal
Insurrection against a
Nemesis whose loved to mock
Star Trek, saying, thrust
Star Trek into Darkness - I would say:
Star Trek Beyond your comprehension my humanoid fool.

4 The Expansion of Thoughts
It is through you, my beloved, poetry
that I have found a universe.
One that expands each and every day
with the thoughts I never thought
I would have one day.
It is through you that I can see
with my mind.
But also that with my mind,
I can feel emotions that I hadn't felt before
like as if someone's touch
was cast upon my skin
even when not
Poetry,
I dare say
that the moment when I met you,
It was as if we experienced the Big Bang!
It was some sort of explosion
that has no explanation
but it caused a commotion
in my heart...
then suddenly,
my thoughts started to expand...
(Out of nowhere!)
it's as if those thoughts started
to be like a universe
full of galaxies
that I must began to explore
Through out my life,
I had remained locked in my own Earth.
Not wanting to think
what was beyond.
but poetry,
something came along
and it made me realize
that there's much more...

5 Forbidden fruit - (Sonnet)
Your imaged swayed between the licking flames,
Cracking a fortress carved from Godly rock.
Why did your furrowed gaze pull on my name,
Teasing the chains that shook upon the lock?
Our faiths are born from worlds light years apart,
With kin that will defend all bloodline sins.
How can this love bear out such selfish art,
as Bat'leths' swipe the night for traitor skin?
Religion gifts a light for those lost souls
Seeking a path to lead them through the storm.
When love becomes the brightest star of gold,
Cling onto human new life to be born.
When hearts deliver promise to this land,
Allow the stars to save the warring clans.

6 Inner Space
I once sat in the dark in my parents' basement and wrote songs
of nebulae,
deep space, and Jupiter.
I scribbled them into a unifying album, Solar Rising, and
I knew myself as Luna Rebellion.
I felt young enough then to make huge decisions
later.
Decisions like will I spend my impending fortune on moon visits?
Will I be one of the brave few to live and die on Mars?
Will I discover my hidden genius in astrophysics?
Will NASA write me into its history?
I listen to words I wrote a decade ago
while sitting hunched in a small room over my desk.
The same image, but not the same person.
I haven't sung of space beyond this one for years,
and I don't know if I should laugh at my optimistic youth
or cry because I've grown too old to dream.

7 Leonard Nimoy - 1931 - 2015 (Syntuit)
Ambassador Spock
Knew fulfillment required time:
Live long and prosper

8 Theory of Generality
You could call it a dream
but it is not as it seems;
it's a hallucination/
universal vibration.
Married to the minimal
I'm throwing electrons, still
hoping one
hits a home run
or grazes a star
near where you are.
I believe in the vacuum,
a path to a sacred room
where I am warmly received,
helped up from my knees;
it is Nature's duty to forgive
all that is relative.
What guides me through the human condition
is her code, etched into our intuition.

9 Untitled
It all started here, in the scorching sands of
Egypt, our petty human commands nothing
compared to travel across intergalactic worlds.
You, the superconductive minerals
I, the ring you center on.
I am the portal and you are the bridge to
extraneous planets.
Put away your goddamn guns.
Those toy soldiers.
Those collectible spaceships.
That's not the way to save the world
and you know we're not here to protect
what never could shelter us.
This world failed us.
It's too human for us to remain.
Our love - interstellar
for we will rename ourselves, far above
what the Earth is known for.
They worship Ra, while I worship you.
So get on your knees, boy.
Be my Starboy.
