You're a Figment of My Imagination!

Actually, according to this theory we all are caught in a Matrix-like simulation.

I most definitely do NOT believe it but still, it is intriguing.

    What do you all think?

The fallacy of their reasoning is that just because the technology may become possible does not mean it is likely. Before ever the simulation can take place we would progress in real-world fashion first.

Look at how technology has taken over our lives over the last thirty or forty years and how many cameras record almost everyone's lives already.

Imagine the leaps we are making in robotics and cloning. It is not too difficult to imagine a world where every single breath you take, every thought every emotion is recorded and that the combination of robotics and cloning would produce a world of super beings that can think for themselves and decide that humans are no longer worthy to live.

If we carry on with this technological revolution then two or three generations down the line we will have lost the skills to exist without technology. A sobering thought....

I don't believe it either, but it is interesting. Reminds me of done sci-fi books I read a while back, Subhuman or something, I think there were four books in total. The dialogue and characters were bland and unlikable, but I liked the story and they were free on Kindle. Super technology, AI taking over the world, matrix kind of stuff, etc.
