My Grandmother Louise wanted me to thank the P n Q community for all of the beautiful Birthday cards. She is 100 years old today, and getting ready for her cake and punch reception. As of yesterday she has received 116 cards!!!!!

She said and quote "the support from people i have never met has made me weep with joy, such lovely people in this world"

I thank all of you dear members for helping me celebrate my grandma's special day!!!!

My profile picture is a table display of all of her cards!

Just to think, if those wretched founding fathers hadn't declared your independence from our great nation, she would now be receiving a card from Her Majesty the Queen... :))

In all seriousness, what a wonderful story and such great news that she has recovered from pneumonia to celebrate.

All my best to her and you, Andrea

Andrea. I am over the moon that she has received so many and is overjoyed. May her birthday be filled with as much joy as she gives you.

    WOW & Double WOW!

First, that she got the 116 cards is amazing (and a tribute to youself, Andrea)

More importantly, that she recovered to enjoy the day!

Completely agree with what's been said.

It's exciting and satisfying that she received over 100 cards. It's a relief she recovered in time for her birthday. How many people make it to 3 digits? 100. Wow. A huge accomplishment in itself. She's a century old. An enormous (and at the same time tiny) amount of time spent on this earth. Really puts things in perspective.

Good on you, Andrea, for making the day extra special for your grandmother. I hope you're feeling good about yourself <3

I'm so glad your gran managed to shrug of her illness and make it to her celebrations...do you have any pics of the actual lady celebrating...I'd so love to see a picture of her at the event?

Take a bow Andrea...you were very instrumental in making her day so special...:)

It's great to hear that your Gran has recovered and was well enough to celebrate such a momentous occasion and I agree with Hellon, it would be wonderful to see her with all her cards.

Well done to you for making it such an extra special time too. I'm sure she appreciates all that you have done for her. :)

Two beautiful, lucky women to have had each other and shared such a love. I wonder what you'll do with those 150 messages of love, so powerful.
All strength and good heart to you as she goes forth.
