Halloween

So, it's almost the weekend and Halloween is on Monday? I think, I haven't checked lol

Anyway, does anyone have any plans this Halloween weekend? Will you be dressing up? Taking the kiddos, grand kids, or neighbors kids trick or treating?
They have a really cool Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) thing here in Memphis.
Does anyone here celebrate anything else?

Anyone want to share a spooky story ? I love a good scary story! Lol

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really bored and curious about what everyone is up to. Haha

I am planning on just handing out sweets to the kids when they come round but we only have a handful of trick or treaters, usually we get a few eggs thrown at the windows too.

I must admit I don't much care for Halloween because here on the UK there seems to be too many idiots around.

Yeah, we don't get any kids at all where we live. I do like Halloween, but I don't get crazy over it like others do. I just enjoy seeing everything. An ex co-worker of mine decorates her entire yard and car port with all kinds of stuff. It's like a little mini haunted trail. She always dresses as a witch and has the creepiest witch laugh. She's been doing it for over 15 years, so her house is pretty popular around this time.
I wouldn't have the patience for all that. Haha

There are lots of idiots here, too. My brother and cousins, when they were younger, egged done neighbors houses and my parents made them go back and clean the outside of every single house the egged. Haha

I have only recently started giving out sweets and that's because my nephews and nieces knock on my door hehe

Well done to your parents lol I would have done the same, dried egg is a pain to get off.

If anyone here watches Parks & Recreation, my boyfriend and I are doing a Halloween bar crawl on Saturday as Burt Macklin FBI and Janet Snakehole, a widow with a terrible secret. I hope we're back home in time on Monday (actual Halloween) so we can give out candy to kids. We live near an elementary school. We put out lots of decorations this year. I hope to carve pumpkins on Sunday because it's tradition. My parents used to host neighborhood pumpkin carving parties and give out awards. I love Halloween :)

I haven't watched that show, Jane, so I'd have to look it up.

That sounds awesome about the pumpkin carving parties. I've never carved a pumpkin! But it sounds like fun. Tim (husband) once did a Pout Pout fish pumpkin thing for our niece for a contest and she ended up getting first place.

Here was my zombie crawl in Fort Collins, Colorado with Jessica & Rosaura.

Halloween night we'll be handing out candy so Rowdy (our grand-dog) can see the kiddies. He loves Halloween. [On the other hand we keep our cats indoors the whole night.]

The staff all dressed up as the Village People, and at lunch today for our announcements, we're going to dance to YMCA.

Nevermind that we are a ministry of a church and the Village People have a shady reputation, hahahahaha.

I'm a biker. Leather leggings, whiskey cut up shirt, tattoos, mustache, red bandana, fingerless leather studded gloves... It's kind of amazing... hahaha.

Secret Life of Pets was good. I loved Pete's Dragon. Watched both at the drive-in, but Pete's Dragon was definitely my favorite.

Britt, that sounds awesome. I'd love to see that!

So last year I went as Tony Abbott which is hilarious to anyone from Australia. Full budgie smugglers, chest hair, surf life saving cap.

I will never do better than that year, it isn't even me worth mentioning what I'm dressing as this year lol.
