So...what's the deal???

Volunteer or not, it's still a job and an honor to be a moderator. Criticism was of our job performances, not our personal traits. I agree with both sides. Regular members need to step up and help maintain activity, but as moderators, we cannot neglect our duties. I don't think Andrea or Nicko were going after you necessarily, just wanting to take ownership as well and make sure the mods don't feel attacked. And as you were able to ascertain, none of us felt attacked and were/are pleased to receive honest, straightforward feedback. You're a pillar of this site, Hellon, and play a large part in its survival.
