If you get it right, ask the next question.

What is the strongest muscle in the human body?

Is the tongue a muscle? I'm not sure but it gets a huge daily workout haha!!

  • silvershoes

Not the tongue. Though good guess!

Is the heart a muscle? Why didn't I pay more attention in biology class? If it is then I guess it works 24/7 where as my tongue would only work half that time haha!!!

    Glutemous Maximus - the butt

Neither! Great guesses haha. I should've said strongest as in the absolute strength, not the hardest working muscle. There are different definitions of strength, which I hadn't considered.

the jaw or thigh muscles ?

  • Larry Chamberlin

Yes, jaw was my next guess

That is correct. The masseter (jaw) muscle can close your molars with a force of 200 pounds. It can exert the most pressure and therefore has the greatest absolute strength.

No idea...just thinking of the movie 7lbs but I think that included his organs...can't remember now :)

Ok so I live in the States and we don't use the metric system so my math might be wrong, but I think it takes roughly 15,000 liters of water?

  • Nicko replied to Aegis
