And clearly the incident is still fresh in billy's mind, and he's trying to play cool and not hurt you again. so he mumbled over her name.

Cody, sorry to say but I don't like where this is going. Ok, let's weigh up what we have. We have the girl's bedroom incident, now this. I am guessing that these are linked by the same girl.

From what you have written so far I don't trust him one little bit and if you were my little sister (I do have a sister who is 13.) I'd probably be laying one or two on him for good measure.

But there is only a little information and not much to make a consistent picture. The one give away for me is the way he said her name. That pangs of guilt. That almost sounds like an admission.

Any other information to add a few more pieces to the puzzle?

If you get what you perceive to be rubbish then dump Billy there and then. You can't trust someone who won't tell the truth. Simple as that.
