Not a competition, an activity. The Prompt of each poem will be what each person has said about his emotions.

This is in response to Craig's vent and let them flow thread, I thought it would be nice to show a different kind of support. Investing our emotions by writing and dedicating poems for each other! SO..the title of each poem will be the name of the person you'd like to write for. Writing a hopeful, supportive and an advice-like poem for anyone you choose. No rules.

Feel free to choose more names; or the name of anyone who vents next on the other thread. I'll write the names of those who shared their feelings already. Endless entries ofcourse, the thread is open till no one vents or writes anymore ^__^

    Andrea - Acrostic

And I know that walls suddenly fall and collapse.
No one knows how it feels to hide from the curls of
dimness to hunt for life. I know you're trying to grant
Robin the strength you lack, to win this solid fight.
Eager & tired- you both still rise the next day. You have
each-other & thus still find the way. She has you & you have us.

<3 We understand and we are here. We love you, Robin and Jim <3

    Mental illness
    Revisits old wounds
    .
    Day in and out you
    Awkwardly stumble
    Remembering to refresh the soul
    Coupled with loving compassion; because
You are the loving house, holding the family together.

    Believe in your true soul
    Evolve within your surroundings and
    Never give up my friend.

    When it feels life
    burdens you again
    rethink things
    take a step back
    know you're worth

Every day seems worse than the day before
'til one day you wake up and realize
this day, today, i do not feel as sore
perhaps I will even try for the prize.

    Em

    you wake and sleep
    next to doubt, memories
    tagging along and trying
    to trip you,

    but still, your heart stands.

even though the hurt and pain
call again and you wonder if
    feelings of security are real,
    to be trusted,
    you deserve somewhere to
call home, someone to fall into.

you are worthy of it all -
    of every loving embrace, every
    promise of hope and warmth,
    every safe haven
    because your worth can never
    measured by a man who
    claimed you as anything
    other than a treasure.

we are more than our broken
    pieces, our haunting past
and it's okay to let ourselves
    be loved again,
    for love comes from within
and it will find its way
through even the darkest of nights.

    Driving up to another crossroads.
Always choices to be made, left ones,
Right one and onwards ever fowards...
Reverse is useful too; it will
    Enable reflection to gain much
Needed perspective for the next roadtrip.

I hear his poor heart break as blackbird sings,
As I read ev'ry line of crimson ink.
If beauty can be born of ashen wings,
The faith of human kind will never sink.

    Jumping on Jupiter will
    Always be difficult.
    Make peace with gravity,
    It will help shrink it
Earth size, then let your child free...

    Em

    Each morning she awoke
    Wanting this day, another day
    to be the one.

And in many ways, it was.

Days of long before had burdened her with:

    - shouty voices
    - stinging slaps
    - purple bruises
    - restless naps

Love was always out of reach.
playing a cruel, hide and seek.

Men they come in different sizes
    Brutish and cute-ish with
    Different disguises.

    - a hat
    - a cap
    - a beard
    - a mac

Why did they go and not come back?

But now, this day the sun and moon
    Shine down on, Em
    Her prayer comes soon.

    Hear those hooves
    Clip clop on yonder
    Hark, she says
    Who's that, I wonder...

    Glinting in the morning sun
    A silhouette of radiant light
Her heart knows and so it runs
Towards her love, her gallant knight.

Now every day come rain or shine
    Em's heart is whole
    On love it dines.
