    I hope it is possible. We tried it with Colm four years back. The account were gone.

    Prior to the 2017 site transfer, when a member closed their own account it disappeared for good. When a mod suspended an account it remained intact and could be restored.

    After the transfer the same rule applies to an account closed by a member: it is gone for good.

    Unfortunately, it appears the suspended accounts were not carried to the new site by Janis, so they are not available for restoration.
