    Good evening, everyone.

I want to ask if any of you can help me find trusted and free online academic search engines for scientific publications?

    Other than ScienceDirect.

    Also, I want to vent.

English is my second language. Reading scientific books in English was never difficult for me, but now that I'm WRITING a research paper to publish in an international scientific journal, I'm finding it VERY hard to translate into accurate and proper academic English language. I'm feeling so frustrated.

    Hi, Noura!

I seriously wish you the best and I wish I could do more. These are a few sites I found and can provide the linked article if need be. I believe this list seems more scholarly and like they have more peer reviewed works but I'm not familiar with it so I hope you can find something that helps. It sounds like a lot of work and I can't imagine translating, and the frustrations behind that.

Here for you and send you all the support in the world. Proud of you <3

I think there is a lot there from MA! If you want me to proof read anything, let me know. Not that your English isn’t immaculate already :D

Thank you, MarryAnne! I'm currently using ScienceDirect and DOAJ, but I'm not finding what I'm looking for, there. I'll try the ones you're suggesting. <3

Thanks, Danny! I'm shocked at how hard I'm finding it to write a scientific article. I thought it was easier than this. And I can't ask my supervising professor, she doesn't like it when I ask too much, haha. Ah, what have I got myself into...

Google Scholar is my ultimate go-to for scholarly articles/peer reviewed journals. I, too, would be happy to review anything you've written! I'm a little swamped between grad school, work, and internship, so Danny might be a faster resource :) Use me as option B.
