My ex and my Best Guy Friend

okay, My girlfriend and I (I'm bi) just broke up like two weeks ago. Now she asked out my best guyfriend and they are going out. I feel so hurt inside. He knew about everything and I don't want to see anyone else with my ex yet. I don't get over relationships in two weeks. I'm trying to act like it doesn't bother me but it really really does. Any advice?

As much as you might not like seeing your ex with someone else as soon as you break up with them what they do is no longer any of your business whether you're ready or not.

Try to remember that no longer have any control over her and also that your best friend has his own life as well. it's not easy and there are no quick fixes. We just have to learn to deal with it.

You dont own her anymore, and as painful as it is for you to see her with someone else, you have no say in what she does.

You have to try and get over it as best you can. Maybe YOU need a rebound or maybe you just need to wallow in your sorrow for a while, either way you cannot stop her from dating.

The same kind of thing has happened to me before and I just spoke to my bestfriend about it, although it didn't stop what was happening, they weren't so in your face about it when i was around.
