Where do you go when you have no where else to hide?

My father hits me, and verbally abuses me. My Mother grew up in an abusive home, and is really kind to me and motherly except when it comes to him hitting me. It's happend all my life it use to be just when I was being a bad little kid, and now that I'm older it still happens for the simplest things like just disagreeing about something. Now that I'm old enough to 'hit back' and do some damage should I? Or should I just stay quite and wait out the next two years of high school? I don't want to leave my Mom there alone, I know he'd never hurt her but still, and I have no where else to go and Foster Care isn't an option I'd rather die firt.... So where do you go when you have no where else to hide?
