hardest part of writing? rhyming.

    Well try poems that dont rhyme they are just as good as ones that do

    More important than the rhyme is the link. The rhyme has to mean something or it's just a word that fits. Understand the words you use fully before you implement them.

    Yeah but not that many feel as though they can write [without rhyming] and still be confident enough in their poems to consider it to be great.

    I have a tendancy to rhyme too much.. I could be almost finished with a poem, and if I can't find a rhyming word.. then I usually end up throwing it away.

    Well i just sound out the word and say stuff that will fit. It usually works for me. Hope that helps.

    I use www.rhymezone.com occasionaly, it is a way to find rhyming words, along with a dictionary.

    Poetry need not rhyme...if its ruining your poem write free verse and don't worry about rhyming :O)

    I actually have a whole list of words which I regularly use and have just wrote down a whole heap of words that rhyme.
    I also have a rhyming dictionary which really helps in times of trouble!!!
