I’ll announce the Winner next Wednesday, Oct 14.

    Poem #1. (Double senyru)

    At night I close my
    eyes, and wish Noura forgets
    the contest forever.

    For I wrote a piece
    I never thought I would write;
    its embarrassing!

    Poem #2. Nouras Charge.

It was her charge of the Bards,
to in seventy five or less,
confess, the perspective of love. . . ..

As if so written from above.

    With a clear cut message.

    "no cliche or cheese"

Just stick to the rules and
    I'm sure I'll be pleased,
    My pen coughed and spluttered
(I thought I heard it wheeze)

How can I express a love without
    Cheese!!

As the one who holds my heart
IS as sweet as honey bees, she is a force of mother nature, she charms the birds from the trees and when with her I have jelly . . . . . where there used to be knee's.

I passed on the contest . . . but maybe I should've tried, out of my comfort zone, I should've applied, the prose in my bones to beguile with ease so long as it was minus, cliche and cheese.

    Poem #3.

I wanted to read poems on love,
yet there was no love to be found.
My eyes wandered high and low,
my ears listened for that sound.

But alas, there was only silence,
until I swiftly came to realize,
    love cannot truly be contained,
it's always watching from the skies.

And so, I'll let the sun warm me,
and the winds call my name,
    knowing my heart will someday
    be held by another flame.

It’s not Wednesday yet, but I don’t think I’ll be receiving any more votes.

I only got one vote for this contest, and I’m letting that one vote determine the winner.

Thank you so much for your vote.

Nice, Lost Star! What an iconic piece. We all need to celebrate with some cheese now.

Thanks again, Luce, for the laughs!
