Weekly Contest Winners - September 6, 2021

Hi, everyone! Many thanks to our one judge this week for their time and dedication. If anyone would like to volunteer to judge, please feel free to message the mod account, it would be greatly appreciated! This week, we have some reflective pieces. In Cassie's "Heaven Weeps", there is grief in realizing what humans have done to this Earth, out of greed and self-preservation, and as a result, nature has suffered. In Noura's "In Sickness and in War", there is tragedy and pain, yet a glimmer of hope, the presence of someone's spirit still alive, their light not dampened by what is surrounding them. And last but not least, Maple's "51 Circles" speaks of the cycle of life, of one more year, and all that comes with enduring the good and the bad. Congrats to Cassie, Noura and Maple!
