I truly am out of words after reading this. I'm mind blown
by the strength you have, not just anyone can write and share
a piece like this full of raw emotions. Thank you for sharing
this with us!

Tuesday In November by Savannah (4 points)
A hard-hitting write, that unfortunately many will relate
to. Trying to move on after something traumatic, and not
being able to trust your surroundings and strangers is just
so difficult. Time will heal some wounds but you're still won't
be left whole, there's always that question of safety lingering.

Grandma by Kate (10 points)
What a beautiful ode to your grandma. Grandmothers are
truly the glue to many families and I'm sure a lot of people
can relate to how much they've relied on their grandmas in the childhood,
from them wiping away tears to cooking up a storm in the kitchen to feed
your family on holidays, they're truly special and it's always hard to say
goodbye. This really hits home for me.

Hometown by Kate (10 points)
The first half of the poem is full of nostalgic warmth, the
second full of pain. The place that once felt safe is no longer
what it’s used to be. This poem is full of relatable emotions,
I love it.

(Vent) by POTP (7 points)
I had qualms about voting on a poem so personal, but there's
aspects here that I can relate to, but above all I think it's amazing
that POTP is still able to write something poetic, profound and
hard-hitting even when venting, using poetry as an outlet at the
highest form. The ending verse 'am i even allowed to vent?' just
breaks my heart.

My Life in Boxes by Hellon (4 points)
I’m not a mother, but when some features of my home the one
I grew up in were gone I felt sad about it. I can’t imagine how
difficult it is packing up the home you raised your kids in is. This
felt like a scene out of a movie.
