An interesting take on depersonalization, I think the past few
years have driven a lot of us to suffer, to be able to separate the
days like we're used to, hours become days, and days become weeks.
Obscure captured that sentiment, pairing it with darker undertones,
make for this to be a very memorable poem!

Mirrors by Bob Gallo (7 points)
A clever write, I love the title, and the proposition of the swan not
being able to be alone, that they're only whole when they're facing one
another, forming the shape of the heart. The parallel between this image
and humans - we're at our best, when we're in love, is such a sweet take
away.

What a beautiful image, this gives Robert Frost's 'stopping by woods on
a snowy evening' a run for its money!

I loved this poem for its imagery and the way it made me feel. It reminded
me of winter walks in the woods with my old dog. Summer walks were always
nice but the winter ones were amazing.
When it's cold and when the mist comes in it is a thing of beauty, however
there is something quite eerie and unnerving about this time also. What
hides in the mist?
A well written poem that left me with melancholic thoughts and also
some happy memories.

Random January 26 - Inner Child by Everlasting (7 points)
A poem that I as the reader can relate to. Thoughts and feelings used
to be so easy to turn into written words. Not sure on my part if it's an age
thing or if perhaps I'm just not as motivated as I used to be, but it's not as
easy now.
I may have gotten the thought behind the words completely wrong but
something echoed.
However as old as I am I will always have a go on a swing.
Wonderful to read.

Evolution by BOB GALLO (4 points)
This poem by Bob kinda threw me a bit as there are so many ways
in which to evaluate it.
It's a poem that makes sense then doesn't make sense. It sometimes
does sound like it's title then breaks the bonds of such.
It speaks to me of hope and reaching for the stars knowing we can
never actually touch them.
The final stanza nailed this in my top three.
"Something that always evolves
But never exhausts
Never is complete"
I think we are always evolving in one way or another. Be it personally,
emotionally or within our family bubble. Nothing is constant and
everything prone to change.
A master class of poetry
Ps I would love to know your thought process behind this
should you wish to share.
