Sad but true
Rode out on lightening rod
Seek and destroy
Bleed out the boy
For he is black and lost

Platinum shards
Whiplashed and hard
Corrodes his creeping death
The unforgiven
Crushed and driven
Turn page unwanted guest

King of nothing
Skull concussing
The day that never came
Mamma said
Music is lead
Let’s welcome home his pain

Beneath the grey
Four horsemen ride on gold
Fading to black
Bibles retract
For whom the bells will toll

Battery cells
Leak like wells
Enter the Sandman’s wrath
Metallica Orion
Eroding Zion
The puppet master laughs

He’s bleeding me
With fatal she
Wherever I may roam
Ones poisoned sight
on Osmium nights
Orgasmic Hell of moans

I can only imagine how disappointed you are at the lack of participation. I realise that we are a shrinking community, but surely that's all the more reason for those active members to have a go.

Thank you, Mr. Darcy. I guess creativity has been abducted. We need to rescue it for the next contests.

But how to do that? Hmm

Congrats, Mr. Darcy!! I had fun reading these, and thanks to Luce for getting contests going again. It's awesome to see no matter how many participants. I did try to write something for it but couldn't connect with heavy metal as much (I grew up with some classic rock and more modern metal bands or alt-rock).
