How Do I Praise Comments?

I’ve been using this platform for years, but I’ve never praised anyone’s poems in the comments. I don’t really understand how it works I see that others have praised poems by sharing their thoughts, but I’m not sure how to do that myself. I can only comment on a poem if I choose to.
