Bipolar...?

Top of the morning to ya all...

So I went to the doctor because my regular depression meds wasn't working... They had me on Lexapro 20 mlg. So I went into the doctor explained to him what I was feeling, showed him my cuts and he said I had Bipolar... So he perscribed me to Abilify 5 or 10 mlg. it made me sick so I stopped taking it. Now I'm not on any type of meds and I feel happiest I've been in 2 years... So here's the question did I ever have Bipolar... or was I just messed up off all the medications?

meds can mess you up. they are suposed to help, but antidepressants often cause more harm than good. maybe by making you sick, it made you realize that you don't have to rely on them to survive.

medication don't fucking work, i have bipolar and the doctor gave me anti-pyschotic meds i started taking them but i was having even more mood swings so i stopped and im happy and ive stopped cutting nd taking drugs....... i don't think meds work but i guess it's different for different people

I had depression and my lexapro wasn't working so I went back to the doctor... then found out I am bipolor. My meds aren't working at all, I feel either the same or worse than i normally do. I sucks real bad. I told my doctor but I don't think he really gave a shit.... But I think its just the meds.
