This just happened yesterday... everyone is acting like she has been paying for this for months. Teenagers should not be cut slack for stealing poems, we are old enough to know it's wrong. Many people dont even know what she did, see the above?

Its ridiculous that people think "sorry, I shouldnt have done that," counts for much. They were sorry they got caught and they knew they shouldnt have done it before, that's what the tranlation is.

In a strange way I am glad I hadn't gotten around to reading her work. You guys seem really disappointed and let down.

I considered Hailie to be one of the best writers on the site.

I used to compare my writing to hers and think "Damn. I am really bad. I wish I could write like her." And she was my inspiration to get better.

Needless to say, it was a huge let down.

well keep the poetry in mind and keep letting it be your inspiration no matter who wrote it. the words itself were good.

I don't think she stole everything, but she plagiarized at least three of my poems and a few others as well. I was searching for my poems on google just for fun, when one named Fate of a Dreamer popped up. That was quite a shock. She had won a contest with it as well :s.

Anyway, has she left the site for good? anyone heard from her?

Yah, she's still posting and well. She's a great gal overall, though I do believe she should have at least mentioned you, or said she didn't write it.

See as far as im concerned I cant take any more of Hailies work seriously - vote or comment for it seriously, openly or honestly because I just am not sure if its HER work...
