Sexual Education in Schools

Hi Guys

Just in relation to another post which was asking young teenagers how far they have gone sexually - I was curious how many of you have Sexual Education at school. Do you all know the medical and physical facts and impacts sex and particularly unprotected sex can have? If you're not taught at school - where have you gained this information from? Magazines, Friends, Internet, Self Research? Just curious is all...

There seems to be so many youngsters unaware of what ramifications their sexual activity can have...

dont most teenage guys just laugh at sexual education...?

cuz i know in my class...most of the guys were always cracking up...and being very immature...

Okay girls thats fair enough but if thats the case where do you gain your information from and just how educated are you - particularly if your sexually active?

Don't want to play Doctor or psychologist here just interested :o)

i learned all i know from those stupid life books called fully alive...from grd 6-8...in my good old catholic school....

and on a scale of 1 - 5 (1 being minimal - 5 being extremely)

how educated do you consider yourself when it comes to sex - both transmitted diseases, contraception, pregnancy, stimulation...?

i would give myself a 4.5...but i pay attention...to when people speak...

So get a majority of the information you know about sex from word of mouth of others - am I correct in that assumption self rejected?

If thats the case hun, then how do you know the information you're provided is correct?

i said i got it from a book...most people were giggling but i paid attention...

I consider myself a 6 on education, and I did have TONS of sex ed at my school, but that's not really where I learned most. I learned most by talking openly with adults that I knew and trusted.
