anyone had one of their poems published yet??

I just recieved a letter from this poetry website that i recently visited and found out that they want to publish my poem that i wrote called "the hardest thing for a father" and i was wondering if any one has had one of their poems published yet

Sure I've had a few of mine published. And they weren't even that good. I think some of these poetry contests will send you letters telling you how great your poem is and informing you that they're going to publish your work, But really they just do that so you can buy the book.

ya my poem "BIg Little Box" was accepted into a poetry contest, only 199 otehr poems made it but since they get 1,000's of emails and letters a day i think that pretty good i made it, it's not even my best poem, it's just i summited it because it's one of the few poems i have that is 20 lines or less. but they are making a book of the 200 poems and mine is one of them, it's supose to come out in like the summer or late spring.
