hey, my mate cut her self at a party, and then she went around showing everyone

she thinks its a big deal, and she got heaps of attention for it, i dont under stand why she went and told everyone about it, i hide mine (i havnt done it in ages, just scars now), what do yous do?

and could yous give me any advice that i could give my friend other then telling her to grow the f**k up

In fact, I think you should show her the horror that is enscribed on your arm, how it isn't like it all goes away. It stays, permanently. You should help her realize that people will be giving her attention out of pity and worry. Ask her if thats the kind of attention she wants and try to convince her to do sports or dancing, singing something shes really good at so that she'll get the attention she wants, but it will be a better kind of attention they'll praise her and be proud instead of pitying her. look dunt call her attension seeker , becouse thats what my mate called me and it really hert even though im not a attension seeker, she needs to now theres gonna be people who will be with her even if she dosnt cut, by cutting and showing she is literally *attension seeking* but its only becouse she may be feeling neglected, she just wants people to now she hasnt got such a great life, n has realised cutting is the only way to show her feelings. err you can feel free to ignore this advic3e if you want lol, its crap i now! , luv lidxx
