I do have a band...

Funny thing you made this thread. My brothers friend just got an electric guitar and doesn't know a thing about music. Except for the fact that he wants to play. Well him and my brother couldn't figure it out so they dragged me into it and I've been trying to figure out. And I know nothing about guitars. I know music notes and thats about it. So its been kind of difficult for me to figure what a fret is and what open means. But so far I think I've done pretty well figuring it out without any professional help.
I hope your lessons go really good. It sounds like it'd be fun to learn to play the guitar. I'd like to learn...I've just gotta get learning where everything is and whatnot first! Good Luck! Let me know how it goes.
