Okay, as most of you prolly know we base our writing mostly on events happening to us. Well...I'm prolly not like all of you, It just doesn't pop into my head. I have to be angry, or upset about something before I can actually write. Is anyone else like this? |

Just because some people are devoid of advanced vocabulary, or of the brain cells necessary to open up a dictionary and look up a word, does not mean that we all need to resort to the vocabulary of an idiot. |

Too often do we think we have to attribute excellent poetry with a complicated vocabulary. Although it is pleasurable to read poetry that is intelligent, it is also relaxing to read poetry that is less verbose and easier to understand. Poetry that can be emotional, sensational, and inspiring while nothing complicates the mind in distracting from the main point is, in my opinion, amazing. |

i ahve to say I'm a knobend when it comes to big poems. i personally think that I've used the words 'solitude' 'shrouded' and 'forbidden' one too many times just for the sake of using big words. God it's awful!!! |
