    "difference between filipino and tagalog?" of course their is a difference. Filipinos are people from the Philippines and tagalog is one of the Filipino languages. I heard their are over a hundred dialects. Tagalog is the main language used in the Philippines.

    I know Filipino is the People of the Philippines, but my dad said it was a language too. I can't understand Alikanos, which is American-born Filipino that knows how to speak tagalog. So if you know one language, and can't understand the other... You're basically screwed.

    Ohh, yes I loved that joke. HA! It's something my parents would do to annoy some Americans that they can't stand. Not being racist or anything.

    Bababa = going down
    ba? = Is it? (frequently used in a question.)

    That's why "Bababa ba?" means "Is it going down?" in English. Heh
