what to do??

ok i been with my boyfriend a hyear and im pretty sure people will be getting bored of my posts but we got in an argument today because he says he needs more space, this is hard for me as i am a clingy kind of person and he has the same friends as me! As if this is not enough today he said we keep having bad patches the past year has been a bad patch and he cant think of one good time! i said to him he knew when we got together that i was a clingy kind of person and i need alot of love to which he replied ye when you used to go from lad to lad you needed love and atention. i thought this was really unfair.. do you think we have a future or is there no point in us being together? plzzzzzz help if u can luv H xxx

He sounds like an arse, being totally honest. If he really cared for you he'd be there.

Sure we all need our space and you have to respect that, but he has to respect you too. I only have the one side of this story but it doesn't sound like he's worth further investment.

There is nothing wrong with being needy or clingy, you just have to find a person who can deal with it and give you the attention you want.

He does sound like an ass though, he needs to show you more respect than to say things like that to you.

Give him his space, but if he doesnt get any better or if your needs arent being met, move on and make someone else happy that will love and respect you.

there is no problem being a clingy type of person, and there is no problem that he needs more space. maybe you should both give up just a little in order for it to work. but sometimes you gotta let go of the one you love just to see if they love you enough to come back to you.

im the same way with my gf and shes like your bf and doesnt seem to want much of me holding her anymore like we use to. I cant help it if i like givign and showing my love for her.

i suppose but it makes it harder as we have the same group of friends so is vertially impossible 2 give each other much space
