How do I tell her in words

Aww I think that is really sweet....unfortunately I am unable to think of a "romantic twist" because I am terribly uncreative that way, but I think your idea is pretty awesome....

Write her a poem - give it to her with the flowers. That should work...it would work for me but I am a terrible romantic.

Another idea is to write a little note/letter...does she know you like her? If she does you can make it sort of subtle...im not sure how and this is probably making little sense but you could write her an anonymous note only you give her the hint its you or something...

Show up backstage without the flowers and a really cheesy poem. Act really nervous trying to read it (it can be improvised), then allow some delivery person to bring her the flowers with you standing right there. Let them read that the flowers are from you.

This could easily backfire though. People could get in the way. Crowd easily, create chaos, so you may want to just keep it simple.
