its so great finally finding people who love to write

I love poetry and have the same friends problem. only my friends think I'm psycho for writing anything but notes outside of english class...

poetry is also a very main part of my life, like a diary in a way, where you can just spill all your feelings into a piece of writing, I love writing

i have the same problem all of my friends thought i was weird for writing and made fun of me to the point where i just stopped writing for about a year...and i just now started again.

I love poetry so much! I love reading it and writing it. And I love this site so much! For the longest time I was looking for the right site to submit my poetry on it and then I stumbled upon this site and.. I just love it to pieces! I spend most of my spare time on this site.

I have two friends who write poetry. One submits poems on another site, the other just does it for a hobby. I have great friends; they respect my passions, even my guy friends (who usually seem quicker to judge) think it's great that I write.
Though if they ever saw my poetry, well, they'd probably be very judging.
