I think I hit a vein

I cut really deep and now the cut wont stop bleeding, it bleeds a lot all the time, I dont know what to do =(

Put alot of pressure on it, pour hydrogen proxide into the cut itself, tape somthing around it, and then if it doesnt stop you need to go to the hospital, say you acidently cut yourself of somthing.

Has it stopped??? I hope that you are ok Katie....

I had to go to the school nurse yest and she bandaged it up but it keeps bleeding =(

That I got my arm caught on my bike cog when I fell off I dont think she believed me... I didnt do it at school I did it at home but it bled all night and re opened at school

well, I'm glad that it's not your wrist...but it's still serious!!!! What did you cut with and how deep is it??? If you don't mind me asking.....It's just because I have never cut THAT deep and I think that I cut reallu deep!!!

It is really deep and I used a carving knife =(

Yeh, I have done the gauze thing, and know the blade wasnt rusty thank god.... Ive cleaned it up as well

You know the salt and ice thing its going to hurt alot! but it you do it on the wound it will stop the bleeding.

Well I had some bleedong during the night but it looks like its slowing up, I think I may do the salt and ice thing, thank you, and thank you for your help

When you get a lot of salt put it somewhere on your body then hold an ice cube on top..... It leaves a really sore throbbing mark

is it still bledding ? i cuty my self couple days ago and it was bleeding loads all nightyand the next day and then it slowed down over the next night. but if it still hasnt stopped id go to the hospital! just wonderin but when you cut why did you do it , were you trying to kill yourself or anything? luv lidxxXxx
