Comments on quotes?

As things stand, quotes are useless because you cannot discuss them without taking them to the forum.

The voting system is abused beyond reason and without a commenting system akin to the poems, quotes are being sadly neglected.

I think they should not only have an option to be commented on, but also have a competition like poems too. That would encourage original quotes without all the hocum and plagiarised cliché rubbish that has to be sifted through to find the gems.

The problem is that quotes are normally so short, comments would mean very little.

I do, however, think that there should be a contest and the 3 top quotes should go out with the poetry contest.
